  2. If there's one thing old Saint Patrick loved, it was a good processor plugin. I'm certain he would be absolutely honored to have his named used to sell these plugins. Just a really high honor. The ultimate tribute.

  4. Well, I suppose technically I can play rings around Keith nowadays. By the same logic I play better drums than John Bonham, better guitar than Stevie Ray Vaughn, and better harpsichord than Amadeus Mozart.

  5. Last month Serpent completely saved my ***** on a project where I didn't have access to my guitars and needed them for a deadline. I do a lot of remote work on mobile rig and I'm continually amazed at the quality of virtual instruments these days. Was very skeptical of virtual metal guitars, but client didn't even know I did the guitars virtually. Although it took 8 hours of learning the interface and and getting the right tone / performance . It took some serious midi / Kontakt time to get it all working realistically. But seriously - very happy I bought these a while back. Would have be totally hooped without them, and they've now more then paid for themselves.

  9. Another idea: Add this (with voucher: ADG-EOS2-1999) and the Bettermaker EQ232D (with voucher: BETTERMAKER-2999) to your cart. Now use the PA $25 March Loyalty voucher: 2022-03-25QRL973IZ62X4F to make it $24,98 (+VAT, if applyable).

  10. Got email today from iZotope giving me loyalty pricing for KOMPLETE 13 standalone for $199, regularly $599. (I own MPS 4.) Suprprised no one mentioned this. Been trying to get in to the KOMPLETE world for years, but the entry price was always too steep. Think the best price I ever saw was $399 instead of $599. Native Instruments proved time and time again that they didn't want my money. iZotope knows how to offer "too good to skip" deals, at least on occasion, and has once again extracted money from me. And I couldn't be happier. No longer need I fear the phrase "requires full version of Kontakt"! Deal lasts until March 31.

  12. Upon the release of Kontakt & Kontakt Player 6.3, Native instruments made a change to how certain graphic elements are handled. In these instruments, this created an issue with instrument menu arrows not appearing or working correctly in some instances. These updates correct those issues. Owners of Guitar Swell can download the update from this page. https://insessionaudio.com/products/guitar-swell/update/ Owners of Shimmer Shake Strike 1 can download the update from this page. https://insessionaudio.com/products/shimmer-shake-strike/update/ Upon last week's release of Shimmer Shake Strike 2 we had reports from a few customers that they were either: Unable to access the pop-up to enter their V1 code to purchase V2 at a discount. Upon entering their V1 code they did not see V2 get added to the cart. If this happened to you we're very sorry! We believe we have identified and corrected the issue - so if you have been unable to purchase, please try now by: Click here for Product Page https://insessionaudio.com/products/shimmer-shake-strike-2/ Please note that if the issue persists, it is likely because your browser has cached the page and has not reloaded it with our webpage update. To get around this, you can do one of the following: Empty your browser's cache then navigate back to the page. Open a "Private" or "Incognito" browser window to navigate to the page. Use a different browser. Our apologies for the trouble! If you continue to experience any issues feel free to reply to this email and we will be happy to get it sorted out for you.

  13. Tantra is one of my absolute favorite plugins and I've had email conversations with Dmitry - nice guy! I have both v1 and v2 but I use v1 - I prefer the colorful and imaginative GUI to the PA version. You can do some REALLY cool things with this plugin!

  33. My Cakewalk also keeps crashing after updating to the new version and also turns out, it is somehow not compatible with the new VIsual C+ from Microsoft. I had to delete the new Visual C+ and install it again numerous times to make Cakewalk running as I am in the middle of a project and this is getting frustrating. Any suggestions pls to go back from the previous version without losing my Cakewalk current setups as I fear I have to install every plugins and VSTs all over again. Many thanks.

  34. Ah where would we be without a sense of humor? 😜 I've been using Cakewalk DAWs for 3 decades, and while there were certainly occasional problematic updates, 9 out 10 problems I've had with it were MY FAULT. Of course, I could easily blame that on drinking too much or smoking too much weed, but still it was my fault for drinking too much or smoking too much weed, now isn't it? I've tried every major DAW & more than several minor DAWs, and I'll stand firmly on my experiences that the CbB DAW, Support Team, AND forum help is all SECOND TO NONE. Gett'in all pissy and scrapping Cakewalk ain't gonna fix yer rig. That being said, 9 out of 10 times when you get that setup error code it's a "warning sign" that your Windows Registry has so many broken/dead end paths it's attempting to follow thru with it exceeds the limits of the computer's RAM & HD Disc's cache's swap file space, and times out giving you an error message. It has nothing to do with how much open "storage space" is left on your HD or SSD. Just because the 1st time you've seen this error message was with trying to install CbB does NOT mean it's the fault of the DAW. My 1st solution, or most likely educated guess if you will, would be the beginning of a Windows Reg. corruption/meltdown. This could POSSIBLY be fixed with a reg cleaner app for FREE. 2nd beginnings of HD/SSD failure. NOT FREE. 3rd your computer especially if it's a gen 5 Intel or earlier, may be getting bogged down by an exploit. You're SCREWED, you need a NEW COMPUTER. There are very good reasons why Microsoft won't budge on allowing Windows 11 update for any computer WITHOUT an UEFI BIOS & "Secure Boot 2.0" chip (made before 2018). It's a long boring technical story only "GEEKS" can understand..😫 I can go on & on, but I'm only guessing and these guessing only get considerably WORSE & scary from here.

  36. $29 As a current EC-300 Echo Collection owner, you are eligible to purchase the FutzBox Lo-Fi Effects Plug-in at an additional $20 off! Since the FutzBox is currently on sale, that would just be $29! Do you like the SIM section in the Digital Delay Type of the EC-300? That is from FutzBox! FutzBox is a distortion and noise generator plug-in for creating low-fidelity versions of audio signals. Typical post productions require distorted, or ‘futzed’ versions of dialog and other tracks. Simulations of radios, cell phones, and televisions are now available in a single software product. These simulations, called SIMs (Synthetic Impulse Models) provide accurate modeling in an extremely optimized format, allowing FutzBox to use less dsp power than conventional convolution based products. Furthermore, SIMs can be scaled in real-time and changed on the fly. In addition to the SIM library of sounds, FutzBox also includes filtering and EQ, distortion, a noise generator, and gating to complete the sonic destruction required. Original and distorted audio can be mixed in real-time to accommodate scene changes or other automation requirements. Offer valid for FutzBox Native purchases only. Please enter coupon code 20OFFFUTZFORU at checkout. Code only valid for current EC-300 Echo Collection owners. Limited time offer, so act FAST! https://www.mcdsp.com/plugin-index/futzbox/

  39. I think I would export the vocal tracks to another folder or thumb drive and not worry about the project file on the laptop. Then load that vocal track into the main DAW. No need to Save As and mess up your instrument assignments.

  41. None at all, as long as you remember to NOT save it at the end of the session. You would have to remember to Undo (Ctrl Z) after each iteration. You could also copy all the tracks and work on the copies to your hearts content without altering the originals. I don't know if repeatedly Lengthening and undoing a track will screw it up, which is why I typically work on copies.

  42. If the backing track is a single audio file, the easiest way is to hold CTRL+SHIFT to stretch the clip: If you want to do it in an existing project, bounce the tracks to a new track and solo the new track. You can then stretch it while you practice until you're ready to record.
