  1. Dual Delay is like a regular delay that wants to be a reverb and ends up being something cool and new instead, with its double delay lines working in tandem to give you rich and complex echoing systems in seconds. As with all Kilohearts Snapins, hooking them up to the amazing modulation options available in our host plugins gives you oodles of extra sound design flexibility. Dual Delay

  7. Amazon's scam has been exposed, and it's the exact same scam that jewelry stores have perfected over many decades: raise prices to ludicrous levels right before the "sale" and then restore them to the same price they would normally have been. I'll often go to the manufacturer's website before ordering from Amazon. The price will be the same (Amazon sees to that) but the 30% that Amazon takes from the vendor will go to the manufacturer instead. I recently found out about a website that tracks Amazon price histories. It shows an item's list price (usually meaningless), its current price, and its historical average price. But their main business is notifying you when an item you're interested in drops in price. Curiously, when I looked at their front page this morning, it listed an expensive wristwatch as going for 99 cents (average price $1,409) so it's possible you could catch a surprising deal that was the result of a typo at Amazon.

  8. can skip the whole withdrawal thingy. smoked 30+ a day for 35 years, and tried quitting few times, tried all the crab help stuff but all that just confirmed how difficult it was and reminded me I was a smoker. so that didn't work and just made the quitting an even more huge thing/obstacle/upwards battle to me. so 1 day I just DECIDED I wasn't gonna smoke anymore, and not even think about whenever I felt like smoking for longer than a few seconds. peace of cake, if you feel like you want to smoke just think 1 word. NO and quickly grab a noody mag get your mind on something else

  9. MAutoAlign instead of Time Align for all the reasons earlier in this thread. (Disclaimer: I don't own Time Align.) Now, I'll be the first to admit I'm a Melda fanboy, and MCompare works great for blind testing mixes. But I always found it kind of a pain to set up and analyze at different points in a signal chain to hear the difference that way. Once I finally did figure out how to do that, the next time I wanted to do it, I had to re-learn how to do it. (Maybe it's just me.) The plugin I reach for hands down for this sort of thing (and many others!) is GainMatch by LetiMix. It's not a part of this sale but is crazy good value at $19. You can catch it on sale for about $10. Totally user friendly and works great! https://letimix.com/products/gainmatch

  16. Actually, that's exactly why I bought it. I regularly use all the PSP plugins I have: B-Scanner, HertzRider2, Lotary, and Nexcellence. They're very easy to use and sound great!

  17. Hello , while I've been in the mood for playing heavier electric , I thought I'd give one of my favorite Jonny Lang songs a shot. I can always use your comments and suggestions for improvement. Here's a remix with only changes to the vocal track. I think I'm calling it done. Thank You.. mark

  19. I didn't rerun my installer yet, but when I looked in my account, Dual Delay was automatically added by Kilohearts. God bless them! Hahaha. Seriously, who can complain? Sure, I definitely understand how some folks who paid for stuff now free -- which includes me -- might be annoyed, but in the long run, they've added a bunch of stuff that was formerly paid that I got free, and I love the fact now someone who is short of cash can access these tools. That's great. And, of course, if more people have it, Kilohearts has more opportunity to sell them additional plugins, so it can work for users and the developer. So, count me as a Kilohearts fan.

  21. PSP plugins are great. The one's I have that don't use iLok are excellent they have an excellent Lexicon sim called 2525 or something like that, it's one I still reach for. I know it, it's UI is easy for me to understand. They also have an echo plugin that is great, easy to use, I know it. Old Timer comp is also a winner. As is some of their older comps and eq. PSP is top shelf stuff. No doubt about them. I hated that they went with Pace. But they still let me use the older plugins iLok free, so I am grateful for that.

  22. I haven't used MCompare, so I cannot speak on how good it is. I can however say that a smilar tool from Plugin Alliance; ADPTR Audio Metric AB is my weapon of choice for references. It seems to have similar features.

  24. Yes, indeed! This helps a bunch. I basically need to define all the chord shapes I'll require and then trigger the legato into the next chord. Neat. Gotta go play with this. Thanks everyone! Y'all can go back to making your own music now. This has been a very beneficial discussion for me.

  27. Like I mentioned earlier, it was a real family vibe because a lot of the regulars there have been going there for years and know the promoters and crew in a lot of cases, so it was really different to a lot of other festivals. Those can be great and playing in front of thousands of people on a huge stage is never a bad thing, let me tell you! But this just felt... nice? We had a great time! The footage was a bit of a nightmare to edit, honestly (I did the full show and behind the scenes footage edit, titles, etc). Props to the crew there for getting great shots - they did a killer job - but the footage was a mix between various codecs, resolutions, some in Rec.709 and some in sLog2... getting all of the cameras to look the same, and then doing clean-ups for some stuff because of the different noise print was a hell of a job. In an ideal world they'd all have the same camera and running the same settings, but despite this, what we were given was fantastic!

  28. Yeah, this is no longer a thing. Have a scan through the Computer Systems sub-forum, specifically posts by Jim Roseberry and you'll see all is fine for audio, and video is definitely fine with AMD.

  30. Feature Request: Add right-click MIDI Learn / Remote Control to Tap Tempo Reason for request: pressing a mouse button to set the tempo is not intuitive, not natural, and inaccurate. Pressing a key on a keyboard (or any other preferred MIDI controller, e.g., pads on a drum machine, breath on a wind controller, etc.) are more intuitive, more natural, and more accurate.

  33. Hertzrider was the plugin I never knew I needed to have! That thing is fun with drums and was very glad I got that one 🤣 I've heard good things about the others you mentioned too. I haven't gotten into their reverbs either yet. I'm sure they're decent as well, it's just I locked in on some other ones first.

  34. Indeed, that is the reason I bought for example DMG Audio Tracklimit. The amount of limiters I have is limitless (pun intended), but workflow and CPU is important. Does it do something I can't achieve with another limiter? No. Does it have the same bazilion functions other limiters have? No. But it sounds great, is very light, very easy to set up and is very much purpose built.

Jason sent me a reply with the same video that @MisterX posted above bookmarked at 308. as well as the pdf link @abacab posted (section 1.7.2 of https://www.amplesound.net/en/Guitar_Strummer.pdf). So, we did get the gist of everything. He also said that if there are other specific questions to reach out to the Ample Sound support team.

  37. I'm OK with the UI, and some of the sounds are interesting. But I prefer the Soundpaint UI as far as being able to mix any samples in the collection with any other samples, including my own. I own the Atma, Frcture, and Ultrasonic Death Whistle libraries from Mntra. The MNDALA UI only allows you to select samples from within the current selected library. They need to improve on that.

  38. First of all my apologies for be tardy with my responses. I have been dealing with contractors in having some repairs done to my house. These repairs were interrupted by Hurricane Ian. This caused a bit more of a delay but now have been completed (yea!!) Hi Dream Arts Scientists: Thanks very much for taking the time to listen and comment. Very much appreciated!! Hey John B. Thanks very much for your kind words. Although I was too young to understand it or really appreciate this kind of music, it is the music that I loved it at a very early age. I guess it was all that rhythm that grabbed me. There are a few pockets in the USA and particularly in the UK and Europe that appreciate this fossil music. YouTube has some great videos that shows relatively recent events where the oldsters and kids are digging the sounds. Thanks very much for listening and for the kind comments. Hi Nigel. Thanks very much and I am glad that you liked this number. BTW, I very much liked your recent post with the new sound! Hey Old Joad. I only wish I had access to their studio and some of the talent that played there. It would be a great learning experience! Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment!! Hey tom! Thanks very much for your kind words and for your encouragement!!! You are right! The frogman must be appreciated. Here is a link to Mr. Henry's song that was the inspiration for this song. Hi Lynn. Thanks for listening my friend. Thanks for the very kind words and encouragement. I'm looking forward to some new posts by you. Hi Lynn. Thanks for listening my friend. 39. Bonjour, Zo. I just installed it and haven't had the time to play much through it, so can't say. But the demos I've heard sound really good. That said, I collect bass amp sims like apartment floors collect dust bunnies. I've yet to buy one that I wound up hating. 😅🎸
