  6. What's going on? He cannot be in bad health, that's not possible. The King is indestructible. I remember when the King was playing in a band in the desert and was bitten by a very poisonous snake. After 3 days of unbearable agony, the snake finally passed away.

  9. In a nutshell .. a no brainer. Because when you sign up you end up with many more packs added to your account as a welcome. Eve if you dont continue with the plan after a month you can still use the Loopcloud plugins / app as a sample manager for your own samples on HD along with your stuff you get from Loopcloud throughout the month. As a member you also have access to 25/30 free samples a day out of 10s of 1000s that are free .. You can also dip in out the odd month here and there rather than paying annual fee of $99

  12. I just came here to post this. Smasher is good! I've thought about the I Heart NY one before (glad I never got it now!), and the WA Production one looks interesting enough. TOTALLY GREAT deal though!!! The PB bundle is here: https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/39-FX-Bundle/6527--StayInspired-Bundle Use coupon STAYIN at checkout. Don't know about the loops and the producer course, but will definitely check them out too.

  13. Version 11.2.1 has many built-in devices, can work as a DAW, but cannot work as a VST plugin. Version 11.3.1 has very few built-in devices and can work as a DAW and as a VST plugin. If you install version 11.3.1, and then 11.2.1, then you will still have version 11.3.1. But there is an option: 1) install 11.3.1. 2) delete the Reason Lite 11 program folder (c: \ Program Files \ Propellerhead \ Reason Lite 11 \). 3) install 11.2.1.

  18. This pack is via LOUPCLOUD https://www.loopcloud.com/cloud/blog/4644--StayInspired-Free-plugins-courses-and-sounds?utm_campaign=86588_LM StayInspired 02-06-2020 I am a loopcloud user, so if you have a loopcloud account by logging in then go to link above you can add the freebie vocal pack to your Loopcloud UI. Loopcloud works well with Cakewalk via the 3 VSTiplugins that come with it ( Loopcloud, Loopcloud Drum, Loopcloud Play ). They link to the standalone loopcloud app which you open before opening cakewalk. From there you can drag drop the samples etc to a track in CW. But before that in the loopcloud app you can set the TEMPO and a version of the loop will be ready via drag and drop at the tempo of your track in CW. Very nice setup .. I find anyway

  20. Here's my ROLI video. Is there a more appropriate place on the Cakewalk forums for me to be posting these? Nobody knows Tiger there... Let me know what you think of my bombastic Tiger the Frog theme. 😃 Also had fun with the Animator patch from the Free Orchestra at the end.

  26. I wanted a Vocoder for a project a while back and got Vocalizer Pro cheaply but quickly gave up on it (I found Waves Morphoder much better or more recently Ovox). It can be quite flakey e.g. when I try to load a chord pad it bombs out. FWIW there's this user guide or there's this Groove3 video made by Eli Krantzberg https://www.groove3.com/tutorials/Vocalizer-Pro-Explained

  31. They changed the licensing to make it account based a few years ago now. All you really have to do is sign in with your Microsoft account once you build the new computer and it will move the license over to the new computer and register it.

  32. Our band performed live in the studio last week via streaming. Due to the fact that we cannot perform live at the moment we decided to do a live stream from my studio. We performed our CCR Tribute show and I also recorded the live tracks into Cakewalk. We setup four cameras (vocals, bass, guitar, drums) and filmed the performance. I edited the video and mixed the audio . It was very successful and went down extremely well. I used the Kemper rack direct with a borrowed remote for guitars and the Line 6 Helix for bass. This is our version of one of the tracks – Suzie Q Hope you enjoy Peter.

  34. I see that they have put the price up now that it actually works. I hope that they will be sharing the revenue from the increased price with those who paid for the original release version and unwittingly became beta testers, lol!

  40. That's what I understood from the Steinberg forum when I asked there. I thought it would just be a simple update. Apparently, you can download the update alone (about 1.6gig) but when you run it, it doesn't update Cubase 10, instead, it creates a new 10.5 alongside 10 and requires a separate license on the dongle. This has led to some unpredictable results from what I have read. I resigned myself to downloading the whole thing and installing after first deleting the old Cubase. But that is another whopping 30 something gigs which I cannot download on my connection. I did find out today though that the local Library is back to full functioning with social distancing so I can do it there now. It was about a month ago I asked on the forum and that was the conclusion I came to. I think it's right but the conversation was a bit confusing as I remember. I just thought a clean install would be better, I hate having multiple versions of things on the system. I might check again before I do it. I hope it doesn't require 10 to be on there in order to run being an update.

  42. To answer my own question if anyone else is interested; Yes you can install it alongside an earlier version of Reason. Although there are not many instruments, its worth it for the Chord/Scales utility (found in Players) alone. I had really missed this being built into the DAW after making the switch to Reaper. Having seen enough of these "get you in the door" offers over the past couple of months... here come the upgrade offers haha.

  48. Are you using combined instrument tracks (i.e. Simple Instrument tracks / Per Output Instrument tracks), or are you using split instrument tracks (a separate track for the MIDI and the Audio) ? Combined instrument tracks currently don't show the MIDI automation envelopes on the track - only the audio automation. To get around this, split the instrument track and then add the pitch bend automation lane on the MIDI track: You can always combine the tracks back into an instrument track afterwards if you want... it'll keep the automation, but it'll be hidden until you split them again.
