Freewill? I find the concept quite preposterous... .... especially the bit where the killer whale jumps over that kid.5 points

You have white horses And ladies by the score All dressed in satin And waiting by the door Ooh, what a lucky man you are3 points

I got this when it first came out because the concept intrigued me and it killed my CPU and was basically unusable. Then they updated it so there was a "light" version and though better, was still too resource-hungry to find its way onto any project. It's one of the only plugins I've ever bought that truly disappointed me. Just my two cents.3 points

Maybe I should but no, I don't really care what Stephen Hawking thinks (thought). Same as Einstein he got a few of his calculations wrong. Free will as I see it is the ability to determine our own direction. Just look at the world around you. Much of the problem is that people are doing what they want to do. One person can impose their free will over another person if they have the power to do that. In that sense wills can clash. My boss could decide to fire me on the spot for no reason other than he wanted to do it. He made a decision I was forced to accept. That still would not change MY will that I wanted to keep working.2 points

There's definitely somebody(s) somewhere twisting their f'n mustache to this. I agree w/ Craig. At my go-to supermarket here in Seattle it's not toilet paper that's the problem, it's the broken oven in the bakery. For nearly *two weeks* now the bakery has had a sign up on the donut case and the bakery bread wall back there that says, "Our oven just broke so we can't bake anything." Who's on that? When are they gonna fix that f'n thing?! I don't want that massed produced bread loaf they got in the regular bread section. How come nothing's being done about that pos oven? When can I get a Kaiser roll and a Boston cream? I don't need toilet paper, I'll take a f'n shower. When are they gonna bake some f'n bread?!2 points

I don't know if this is yet in the planning - or if there is some obscure setting I haven't found yet, but . . . it sure would be nice if we could adjust the system font type/size within the track view and other places. Should I make a formal feature request for this?1 point

Check out The Case Against Free Will by David Lieberman. Also think of the brain as a computer, with inputs and processing. The inputs are your experience. The processing is either built in or based on your experience.1 point

It shouldn't be a hassle, sorry to those who are having issues. For getting the popup, it should work by going directly to the IK User Area via the site menu or clicking http://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea The installation for those without any SampleTank 4 products should be as explained in the Installation & Authorization Manual. If you've followed the steps of the installation of the software/plugin and the sound installer (1 file for sound install in this case of CS) and you see the sounds locked or otherwise can't access them, our support team can take a look. These are some really great sounds, don't let the (lack of) price tag fool you So very much worth it, We've heard some great feedback on the CS sounds that are free and these new libraries are really nice too. I do have to spend some more time in the Synthwave lib though as I dig it but haven't dug deep as I'd like yet. For existing ST4 users, I installed the CS set into an existing ST4 MAX installation with a custom set of paths and the sounds were available under the main SampleTank 4 MAX category (we didn't want to add yet another tile to the left pane or it could get crazy down the left pane). You can find the list of new sounds for reference at the bottom of this page: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/st4cs/index.php?p=versions1 point

Maybe I need to drink some wine to get them back 😉 Going to have a break and just have a play the ST4 CS sounds for now1 point

You can’t sell your own sample collection using cake content, but that is true of any sample set I know of. Standard. But cake has no call on your songs composed with their samples.1 point

Over $10 lower than current JRRShop. But don't forget that all ujam was 50% off during Black Friday and they had Hustle for $9.99. I missed out on one of the beatmakers as a PluginBoutique freebie, something I am kicking myself about today. I wasn't as into ujam in those days.1 point

What ASIO4All does is wrap one or more WDM drivers for one or more devices and present them to the DAW as an ASIO driver. As far as the DAW is concerned, there is one ASIO driver called ASIO4All. The smaller the ASIO buffer size, the lower the latency. Using 96kHz sample rate probably needs a 256 sample buffer size or smaller to effectively monitoring through the DAW.1 point
