  1. Seems they are getting initial month stats after their great new changes in offers. No problem, PA... Take your time... We can wait... We are able to work with what we already have I wish them anyway all the best. I got some great plugs with unbelievable deals. It would be of course naive and not fair to expect from them to let us buy all plugs by kind of mad deals like 4$. No company is able to keep business without incomes. But hoping there is a line they will find to be still affordable for mass and to give them reasonable income.

  2. Unfortunately our current Melodyne version 4.2.2 has an error which, in certain constellations, when the application starts, displays a “version is expired” message and quits again. We are truly sorry that we missed this bug. In any case you should replace your current Melodyne installation with the newest version 4.2.3, which we have uploaded. You can find the installer in your user account: https://services.celemony.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/LicenseApp The good news: documents you have saved with the 4.2.2 version are not affected by the problem in any way. After installing the new version you can continue working as always. We would like to sincerely apologise for the application error and the caused inconveniences and ask for your understanding.

  3. Norm MacDonald Joke: (I think) Yoko Ono wanted to do something special for a friend. Yoko's friend not only survived the Hiroshima atomic bomb but also survived the 9/11 bombing of the twin towers. In addition this woman survived a brutal auto accident and spent 12 months in traction. So, Yoko gave the friend free front row seats to one of Ono's Central Park singing concerts. After the concert the friend said Yoko's concert was the worst experience of her life.

  4. Just a quick heads up for anyone using Melodyne 4.22. I opened Melodyne Editor this morning and it said "program expired - contact Celemony". This is a bug in the current version on certain systems. Celemony have already posted a fix. Log into your account and download 4.23.

  5. Hey @Noel Borthwick! Thanks for the information and chiming in. We appreciate the offer for help looking into this! I'll make sure the team sees this thread. While this does not seem to affect all users, we have been able to pass this information, as well as some crash logs to the team. They are looking into this behavior as we speak. For those users experiencing issues, please feel free to use the VST2 instance in the meantime to avoid any possible issues.

  7. It's by design. There are two things to be aware of. If "Keyboard Shortcuts" is enabled in Lens Manager: The lens will save a snapshot of the current keyboard shortcut assignments. Whenever you load that lens (which happens when you load a project or start a new session), it restores its saved shortcut assignments, potentially wiping any custom shortcuts that were assigned after the lens was saved. If "Keyboard Shortcuts" is NOT enabled in Lens Manger: If you make any custom keyboard shortcut assignments while a lens is selected, you will only lose the shortcuts if you switch the lens to "None" or to a custom user lens that has "Keyboard Shortcuts" enabled in Lens Manager. We allow you to save shortcuts in lenses so you can have different shortcuts based on workflow. However, if you prefer to always use the same shortcuts regardless of which lens is selected, you should set lenses to "None" before making any global keyboard shortcut assignments. These global shortcuts will then be available to use in any factory lens or user lanes that has "Keyboard Shortcuts" disabled in Lens Manager. If anyone is experiencing other keyboard shortcut persistence issues after disabling "Keyboard Shortcuts" in Lens Manager and resaving the lens(es), then there is another issue we need to investigate.

  8. I only installed it and played with it in the Kontakt standalone. I avoided loading it in a project as I really do want to finish the project I'm working and I know I'll get totally lost in it if I opened Riffendium. Really good deal and an excellent library it is!!

  9. Have you tried disabling the "Fast Bounce" option? Some plugins can't cope with it being enabled.

  10. I grabbed it and it's excellent. If you can still get it for $99, I highly recommend it. Zinc nailed it when he called it a "song inspiration" tool.

  11. Since synthesizer where invented they never got a more flexible architecture than modular. All the fixed architecture designs are, in a way, an attempt to simplify the task of dealing with synthesis. And, of course, the modules themselves grow in complexity from the first simple oscilators, filters and envelopes. Modular synths are my fave and they can go in and out of fashion but never will go away. And there are tons of resources online to help aspiring modular programmers like this one, for instance: https://www.cim.mcgill.ca/~clark/nordmodularbook/nm_book_toc.html It's geared toward the Clavia's Nord Modular HW synth but the concepts are valid for any modular synthesizer.

  12. This deal on Riff Generation and their other libraries (4 for 3) was supposed to end yesterday having been extended but I managed to get Riff Generation - Outside In edition this morning. I had a quick play and it seems very inspiring so cannot wait to get stuck in. The intro price 99 USD is supposed to be the cheapest price it will ever be. Not cheap but a lot cheaper than the normal price and it does seem like a quality "song inspiration" tool. The included samples are also excellent and it includes access to a video manual which should help with the learning curve. Also, it's Kontakt Player compatible for those who don't have full Kontakt yet.

  28. A flanger for 129 bucks + VAT? Was hoping for something better to make up for the fiasco, the pricing for perpetual and subs is rather misaligned at the moment. The amps interested me, but I´m not buying a single amp for 129. They should really roll-up all those amps and stomp boxes into a single plugin and sell it for like 299.

  29. Well this is exactly what i used to think guyz , until you reach a point where during an inpiration rush you need this and that sound you want to do this with ect ...and then you figure out that this synth can have those osc , but don t have an arppeg that can control pitch or be routed to osc freq , this and that ect ... i will keep using my gotos (omnisphere , diva, arturias , falcon (witch is the most powerfull) but i can see using more and more those modular with i m actually doing starting point templates as the most common things i struggle to have fast in others ... building its own synths is exiting and inspiring imho !!!
