  2. The plugin is part of the OneKnob Series and is called: FU. The higher you turn the knob, the more non-Waves plugins it deletes from your system. It uses advanced AI to also deregister the deleted plugins from your online accounts so you can't reinstall them. It also comes with 50 years of WUP: Waves Uninstall Program! I was a beta-tester and can report that it works flawlessly. Unfortunately it also deleted my DAW, so I'm kinda screwed. Oh well, it was free after all. Buyer be Waves. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

  10. These jokers need to make Opus free already. Installation Center keeps trying to foist that download on me for no reason. I have tried Opus and it is great, but I'm not planning on any purchases in the near term, and especially of Opus as a standalone.

  13. Soundpool: Chart Hits - Feel Good Free of charge, no additional purchase required https://producerplanet.com/us/article/feel-good-3206/ Note: It's free for the non-commercial licensed version. The commercial licensed version is $13.99 (30% off, part of the Valentine's Day sale) however, Producerplanet has very frequent sales through the year, many of them for 40%~50% off, so I would suggest getting the free soundpool for now and waiting for a better sale, if interested on royalty-free licensing.

  15. It's a Swiss army knife of a compressor with mid/side, built in clipper and some controls for shaping the tone. It can be really transparent, but also allow you to modify the overall sound quite heavily in a direction you choose. The workflow is fluid. I do get your point about the interface! Haha.. for me this in ways reminds me of Tokyo Dawn Labs TDR Kotelnikov.. these two are probably the only compressors where I've felt I need to read the manual.. and maybe watch a tutorial ๐Ÿคฃ And not everyone gets mid/side either.. but spend the time learning this one and it's got great power and versatility and of course the most important.. great sound ๐Ÿ™‚

  25. This got my curiosity about something when you mentioned about people getting different results on export. Personaly since Sonar 8.5 all my exports have always been perfect renditions of what's happening in Cakewalk. I'm always mistified by posts about this topic. There's actually one right now here. But the question popped into my mind was how we are told your audio interface has zero to do with export becuase it's all internal. But what about those Hardware faders? SO I just tried an experiment where I turned them down to -15 db and exported using the default I've always used which is "entire mix". The resulting file you see I dropped into You lean to analyze and sure enough the export is -15db. So the Hardware faders do matter for export.

  27. OK, so they haven't abandoned the AD2 and AK executable, but where's the new content? There hasn't been a new drum kit released in the last 4-5 years and even longer for a new keyboard.

  28. This is how is worked with Studio One 4 Artist which was bundled with my PreSonus AudioBox 96 I purchased almost three years ago. As a newbie, the Magic Suite was great, but being limited to those plugins in S1 kept S1 from being as useful once I started collecting plugins. I ended up buying the add-on to unlock the plugin feature for $80. PreSonus added third party plugin support to S1 5 Artist. Interesting that they are bundling S1 5 Prime with this interface. All I'm saying is if you're in the market for a low end interface and you don't already have a DAW, pay the $20 extra for the AudioBox 96 and get an unencumbered Studio One.

  37. That is actually the direct monitor buttons. Don't know why they took this route with it. Theres actually no difference between them other than it is placing the signal in either Mono/ Stereo for "Direct Monitoring in Zero Latancy" with the USB switch being the pure system signal.
