  5. Amateurs. Iadded the free Shreddages to my cart and upon checkout it asked if I wanted to add XTC for $30. Then one coupon that's clearly meant to give $15 off did $27 off. No idea why this happened. I had another loyalty deal in my cart before but removed it before going to checkout.

  6. With the global situation as it is, we need something to cheer us up. The deals the past few days have been underwhelming. @cclarry please post Omnisphere for $99 or something. I'd also take FM Tines 2 for $10, or the Audiobro Genesis Children's choir for $50. Or a Moog One 16 Voice for $500. I could go for that. Come on, Larry, help me out here.

  7. Not that is really matters, since my codes registered fine in Pulse, but they don't show in my account. Only thing there is a cheapie and a freebie I got back in 2017. Definitely same email. Meh. Free is free. Thanks @laglag and ISW!

  9. I paid $199. Back in the days when I had money for such things. While there are many choir libraries and many children's choir libraries, this thing IMHO is better than most libraries of any kind. If you watch videos on this, you'll see what I'm talking about. The UI is amazing and it sounds so beautiful . The perfect package. It's definitely on my list of my very favorite libraries, like Cinematic Studio Strings, Tina Guo Legato, Ancient ERA, Solo Opera, Picked Acoustic, etc. But I don't use it as much as the others, because... it's a freaking children's choir. If you're on the fence, there is no pressure. This sale price comes back all the time. Who knows? Maybe it will be $179 next time around. 😃

  10. If you want to get it for FREE then DO NOT add the amp to the cart! Get the free guitar and checkout and place order as if that is the only thing you want! There wont be a payment method because it is free. Then before the order gets placed a pop-up will ask if you want the amp as well for $30. It gives you two selections "add to cart" or "no thanks". Choose add to cart. Then it wont proceed because you need to add your payment details. You will see that you need to pay $30. This is when you add the first coupon code. Apply it. It should reduce the price to $7. Then add the other coupon code and it should reduce it to $0. Do this all while logged out just incase you have a saved payment method. I 'm surprised some people don't get it or give up so easily and accept whatever is shown without finding out or trying something else.

  13. Yes. For awhile I was using an inexpensive Axiom 49 controller for just this purpose. It has 9 assignable sliders, but as you say it never had the tactile feel of Hammond drawbars. Today I have a Nord Stage 3, not the piano version but the one with synth-style keys, very Hammond-ish in feel. And not the one with the digital drawbars - my particular model has real indented drawbars that I use to control my Korg Kronos (which has a superior Leslie emulation over the NS3). So in the band I often play organ parts on the Nord but produce the actual sounds in the Korg. Making that NS3 the most expensive MIDI controller in the world, I think. btw, when I record Hammond parts they're all played on the NS3, but only its MIDI output is recorded. Afterward, I insert B3-X into the project and route that MIDI track to it. That way, I never have to worry about latency while recording, never have to adjust audio buffers, and get that "real" feel during the performance. But then subsequently enjoy all the benefits of a virtual instrument.

  14. I totally feared that this would happen to me, but it didn't. Instead it sent me back to the cart to tell me that my payment method was invalid. It had Visa selected with no card details. I guess I was lucky as that gave me the opportunity to add the coupon codes.

  15. Part of the issue was actually addressed in the thread announcing Cakewalk Next and Cakewalk Sonar. Understandable if you missed it because it turned into a lengthy thread.

  16. Weird. Have you tried adding one of the free guitars? I added Stratus Free and placed the order then it asked me to add the AMP for $30 and I accepted. Then I added the two coupons and it became $0.

  17. This cover was so powerful that Trent Reznor said that the song didn't belong to him anymore. It's undeniable that Johnny was not just covering the song. He was the song at that moment in time.

  22. If there is a product you want to crossgrade, try this code. ISWSTR50KX5H But it is an old code, it cannot be used for new products released within 2 years. It was a maximum of $50 off, but it seems to have been nerfed to a maximum of $29.😭

  27. Nice setup. I miss my old Hammonds. Sadly, I’m far from a good enough B3 performer for this to matter much. I've heard/seen masters who truly use the drawbars as an inportant part of performance much as Jeff Beck incorporated his whammy and volume knob. For me the drawbars are mostly static settings so I haven’t had to consider such. I did create a drawbar studioware device way back then. I may even still be able to find it if anyone is interested? More important for me right now is a client just paid me enough so that tomorrow when the post office is open I will have access to enough funds to buy the B3x! I’m excited! May take a day or two but hopefully not and tomorrow finds me happily enjoying it!

  28. Interesting, similar vibe here: Is this the same error you're seeing? This isn't crashing for me or another user in that thread, so it sounds like something is common and clearly not working on your systems that's making this encoder crash. If you have a crash dump, definitely get that over to support. A lot of people used LAME as their MP3 encoder until the Cakewalk one was unlocked years back, but I personally prefer exporting to WAV and then using some audio editor (such as Audacity, which is free) to do the final silence trimming and exporting to MP3.

  29. It’s a pretty good sim amp anyway. I’m thinking ImpactSoundworks may be testing the waters with this first (Bogner) one and will expand when it takes off. After all, they only launched last fall. So I guess it’s a good thing people are getting it for $30 (or less). Here’s hoping more ISW amps are coming.

  32. Hahahaha. You’re the amateur :):):). I added a free shreddage and proceeded to checkout. Then it asked me if I wanted to add XTC for $30. Then I applied both codes and for everything for free. Woohoo. edit: just saw someone already pointed that out. :):):):)

  37. The only problem I've ever had with loading old projects into Cakewalk is if a plugin is no longer installed. Of course, you can still open the project, you'll just be missing the preset from 17 years ago that used AmpliTube 2 Some manufacturers are better than others at being able to load presets from old versions, but if a plugin has had extensive revisions over a decade or more, it likely won't be backward compatible.
