Anyone who has seen my posts over the past year is probably aware that I'm a HUGE fan of Wurli electric pianos. I found this very good free Wurli library for KONTAKT (full version) called the Lo-Fi Wurli and wanted to share the info with my fellow forum members. While it doesn't have a GUI, it has 5 velocity layers (thanks for the info @user4325874) and I think the samples and tone are excellent. There is some noise in the samples if you hold them for a long time that could be cleaned up, but it's not terrible. It is easily my new favorite free Wurli sample library and better than some of the paid Wurli libraries I own. I immediately created a bunch of presets/snapshots for the library using reverb, distortion, a rotator speaker (Lesie) sim and really love the sound of it. While I have Wurlis from e-Instruments and Skybox Audio that are much more sophisticated packages with all sorts of options -- like the ability to add in the clank of a Wurlie with e-instruments library and lots of presets with both -- the spot on tone of this library makes it a keeper.

I'm creating a thread for this one as it seems the original, I used as a platform to mod, hasn't been updated for use in the current version of Cakewalk. You can see the post about where the design came from and a note about some of the modifications, I made to it. I call some of my mods "Pro" because it removes text from the interface that a novice with cakewalk would find helpful. However, those of us that have used the interface for a decade know what the Pro-Channel is, FX bin, Bus Sends, etc so I got rid of that text to clean up the look/distraction. At this point, this interface has become what I think of Cakewalk looking like as I use it so much. When I do a new install, everything looks wrong until I get this transferred over to the computer and therefore, this thread also serves as a "go to" when I need to find the theme to download. 😊 A few screen captures to give the general idea: AFUI 1.5 - BW Pro_2021-12.sth

Thanks for the info @user4325874. So the person who made this put a good deal of work into it. I'm going to adjust my original post to include that it has more velocity layers than I realized. I just know that I love the tone of this library and I'm pretty critical of Wurli sample libraries. Okay, I am critical about all kinds of sample libraries, but I'm particularly choosy about Wurli libraries and this has quickly become my favorite free Wurli library to date. I realize that it was originally shared three years ago, but I just found it last night and figured that it would be new to many others here too (and apparently it is, based on the reactions).

Lo-Fi Wurli got 5 velocity layers which are visible in the mapping editor of (full) Kontakt.

Saw 🏳️‍🌈⃤ Pink Floyd 1975 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena - great show in spite of the massive obtrusive presence by the LAPD (511 arrested - most for marijuana related charges). Then again for the 1994 Division Bell tour at the Rose Bowl - great shown, phenomenal sound.

Saw the same show in Baton Rouge same year. Best show I ever went to. Man I was so lucky to have seen them back then. They played almost all of DSOTM. They started on WYWH, but only did some of it. They opened with the Animals show, which was great!! I really like the Animals album.

I am surprised this has not prompted more interest and discussion. I am trying the demo and it is very good, probably better than any other virtual Rhodes I have. I do still have a very soft spot for OTS's Famous E but I think the instruments would be complimentary, the Famous E has a character all of its own. It won't be cheap $180 for the standard and $250 for the pro version, so I will have to consider if its THAT much better than my other option.
