I know there’s already a thread on the latest Cinesamples xylophone freebie, but while looking at (and getting) their Apocalyptica Cello and reading the thread at VI Control, I realized they now have five freebies that are all Kontakt Player compatible! Here’s the info: “5 Freebie products that work with the free Kontakt Player! Three of these products were once available for the full Kontakt only, and now thanks to NI working with their partners to offer encoded freebies, we have the option to offer these truly for free The two new ones are the Create Series Toy Xylo and Kalimba, and we also reimagined the Tongue Drum (formerly Modal Drum), Accent Pianos (formerly Jerry's Pianos), and Twisted Psaltry(formerly Bowed Psaltery) with new interfaces and features.”5 points

Most Kontakt libraries even don't need K6! So why should I install K7 Player or upgrade to K7 full? IMO wasted time at the moment!4 points

Wow Larry- Great minds 🤪... I just two hours ago meandered over to the Acoustica forum for my bi-monthly update on the "10" status. by Acoustica Greg » Tue Dec 06, 2022 10:35 am Hi, We're still hard at work on Mixcraft 10. It's taking a while, because we went back into some old spaghetti code and updated it. We've also redone the graphics so Mixcraft 10 will scale better on high resolution monitors. We don't like to release software before it's ready just to meet a deadline. More info will be made available as we get closer to release in the coming months. Thank you for your patience and all your support! Greg3 points

Just a quick note - we've updated our database to improve how we handle all of the information. This in turn should have removed all of the minor issues you've seen like a few products having a very high price as well as some products showing as "Deal" or "On Sale" when not on sale. Everything should be a lot more accurate overall now instead Black Friday was absolute madness with hundreds of deals being published each day so we're working our way through any duplicates and re-categorising everything (eg. Plugin > Compressor) . You'll also notice that the product URLs make a bit more sense now - no more numbers at the end of them, just standard URLs as our database doesn't need the numbers anymore3 points

@Frank Yes I have full Kontakt 5, 6 and Kontakt 7 player all installed on same systems ( PC and Laptop ). All working fine. Just keep in mind that Vivace Legacy ONLY works in Kontakt 7 ( or Kontakt 7 player )3 points

I believe these were also mentioned in the ToyXylo thread, but here's the link: https://cinesamples.com/productGroup/freebies/3 points

I think that you could get it at 50% OFF with some of the next codes (but I am not sure if it works more than 1 time): 6f2c70a4-7fff-5eb7-93ae-bb1ad995925e d302b939-0209-540d-a600-be1201e258ed3 points

Who do you think you're fooling? You'd still be hanging around here waiting for your turn to say "My moniker is abacab and I am a plugin addict." If you had bought Omnisphere, what you'd be saying now is "Looking back, I wish I had spent $500 on getting Keyscape up front too!" and you'd still have all those other synths for their 'tonal colors'. Remember the forum mantra: Bapu abides... Bapu he buys... Bapu installs... then on he rides... My moniker is TheSteven and I am a plugin addict.3 points

But then you’d have to pay up for Keyscape as well, to get all those mesmerizing Keyscape Creative patches in Omnisphere3 points

I picked up the Luftrum 13 batch of Zebra2 libraries for $17.50. More arps in there than I'll ever want or need, but the pads are good. Omnisphere-class good. I intend to dissect them in detail to learn Zebra a little better.3 points

It is a huge, beautiful beast of a piano. I suspected this was coming and excited to see if finally released. I also appreciate that they recorded it stage center in stead of offset to one side like the Imperial and CFX, it feels more natural out of the box that way. I am hoping to be featuring it in the channel on an upcoming livestream, possibly as soon as this Friday, so stay tuned! Joyfully! Simeon3 points

I listened to the Venus Theory intro on it. I think I’ll repurpose my dubious $9.99 for PSP Hertz Rider to help subsidize this while it’s at the intro price. Sounds like it has some useable and unique character possibilities to use in songs.2 points

Reminds me of the time I saw U2 in NOLA at the Superdome (Can seat 74k, more if you count the floor). Couldn't have been no more than 7k -8k there. Very few in the seats. Almost everybody there was on the floor. Third Eye Blind was opening act. They rock a lot harder live than they do on the record. And U2 came out and put on a show I was not expecting. I gotta give 'em that. The Edge, Clayton, and Mullen can rock. Really rock. Yeah, and Bono was there. He did put on a fantastic show, despite the very sparse crowd.2 points

I inserted on a track with Playbeat which I picked up on BF and it can add some interesting and cool rhythmic modulation. Not something I'm going to use a lot of but I have yet to try it on other sources or with automation added.2 points

And has only been a full-time composer for about a decade. Now she has a staff of composers working for her. Before that she was a sample library developer at Cinesamples and interned for Hans Zimmer. Based on brief views of her upscale home and neighborhood in LA, she seems to be doing all right for herself. No, I am not a stalker. I've just watched all her videos.2 points

Your comment made me think back on expensive purchases I've made that turned out to be good investments. Omnisphere definitely makes that list, but I'd have to place Kontakt above it. I'd include Zebra2 on the list because it was more expensive than most other non-sampled synths but ended up making the others unnecessary. Superior Drummer, Trillian and Keyscape have all earned their keep. But the top spot on that list would have to be SONAR. I chose it only because I'd used Cakewalk in the past when it was a DOS-based MIDI sequencer, and hoped that I might leverage that familiarity with SONAR.2 points

There is a registry setting you can use to get those back... I did that, as I rely on a bunch of shell extensions for TortoiseSVN / TortoiseGit. https://pureinfotech.com/bring-back-classic-context-menu-windows-11/#:~:text=Enable classic right-click context menu on Windows 11&text=Right-click the CLSID key,and select the Key option.2 points

Best way to buy this would be to buy 3 VSL $100 Vouchers, which gets you another $100 FREE! https://www.bestservice.com/deals/get_your_free_vienna_voucher__4663.html That makes the price less than $323 because you should get Best Coins to use to lower the price even further!2 points

Looking back, I wish I had spent $500 on Omnisphere up front. Would have probably saved a bunch on synths that I thought I needed along the way, LOL! 🤪2 points
