  2. Scaler is one of the best purchases I've made since Omnisphere. It's the gift that keeps on giving. I'm working on a video comparing nylon string guitars (like Nylon Sky) and I'm going to see if I can use this.

  5. If the next one is a paid version, I will gladly pay to support continued development. Not only is the feature set great, but it's so easy to use. It's obvious that a lot of thought went into the design.

  6. Scaler just keeps getting better. Excellent bang for the buck. Check out 41 Fingers YouTube channel for some excellent videos using multiple instances of Scaler and reMIDI together to create his orchestral template. He's now working on RTS, his Real Time Sketching template. Lots to learn from him! 41 Fingers YouTube channel

  13. Oh thank you all for your answers. I have work a little more this song. Several of you have told me about the voice level, so i put it down a bit. And I have also put a bit more forward the kick, and add some extra low mid to the piano. I have lower the reverb from time to time. Here is the v2, sounds it better for you? :

  14. Just a quick Thank You. My studio (Pie Man Sound) briefly switched from Sonar to Protools when Gibson stopped support, but I've been on Cakewalk by Bandlab since you "rebirthed" it. More than 1000 projects later, I've never lost a track, and aside from a few blips, the stability and functionality has been fantastic for both full band tracking on a console, and for one-person sessions where the musician is also the engineer. And most remarkably, service improved when the software became free. Whatever you are doing, it is very much appreciated - all day, every day. Thanks!

Also their very interesting looking Emisynth, which is a bundle of 11 obscure Russian keyboards is selling for $19 at PB https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/55-Kontakt-Instrument/7599-EMISYNTH/ This looks like a job for @Simeon Amburgey 😀 There's an 85% off sale at Strix, but these two are $29 there. https://strixinstruments.com/

  23. This actually looks very interesting, but it's a new developer so I'm a bit wary. The intro price is until 1st of December and it's also available at AudioDeluxe (gives you $10.90 DB). People at GearSpace seem to like it: https://gearspace.com/board/new-product-alert/1364846-kirchhoff-eq-ultimate-eq-plugin-superb-dynamic-processing-vintage-models.html You can also download a demo here: https://www.threebodytech.com/en/products/kirchhoffeq

  27. Okay, here's my game plan. I'm going to get the Synthmaster crossgrade from Synthmaster One for $19 USD from Plugin Boutique and get Audio Thing's The Orb free. That's a pretty great deal for less than $20.

  28. On the Genesis tangent, I'm a big fan of their music from the Gabriel days up to and including Abacab. They were brilliant and Collins' drumming was killer in that era and Banks was amazing. I'm also a big fan of Gabriel's solo music.

  29. You will be eligible for a cheap upgrade to SM v3 whenever it is released. SM One was actually a proof of concept for the developer to try new technologies, as he tried a few new things, and eventually spun that off to the iOS platform. Lately he has been merging the tech from SM One back into SM 2 into a common architecture, so he can eventually roll out SM3 as a unified concept. SM3 will be able to load SM One presets into layers, along with all the other new goodies in the new version.

  33. If you are into classic rock & early electronic music, then many of the SM2 expansions are useful. For example, Historic Synth Giants Volume 1,2, & 4, covers synth sounds of Pink Floyd, Genesis, Vangelis, Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, & Jean Michel Jarre. And Dawn of Electronic Music Volume 1 covers Kraftwerk, Volume 2 covers Depeche Mode, and Volume 3 covers Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream.

  38. Hi folks I hope you are all well - I've been a bit meh about music for a while so apologies for the absence. Here's a track that I just did with my son - music is me - rap is him - Churemi is singing the hook. It's out of my usual thing but I enjoyed doing it and it got me off my ar$e to do some music.

  40. I am looking for a good deep sampled, well scripted KONTAKT cello library for mostly acoustic rock accompanying piano and this dev's Trio Broz: Solo Cello demos sound really nice. Does anyone here own this? I'm comparing it to libraries from 8Dio and Tina Guo. I'd love to hear anyone's input if they have one of those or another deep sampled cello library they love and would recommend. UPDATE: I purchased sample libraries from Fluffy Audio and spent 11 months putting in the same customer support request but never received a response. When I went on Fluffy Audio's Facebook page to share that I like the libraries but the lack of customer support is unacceptable hoping they might finally respond to my multiple customer support requests, Fluffy Audio did respond by deleting my post and then blocking me on Facebook and later made extremely hostile and defamatory remarks to a customer. All because I was voicing that they didn't provide support. I've since found from someone who works with them and a reviewer that my experience wasn't a surprise to them. My recommendation is to avoid Fluffy Audio, not because their libraries are bad, but because of the developer's poor support and poor treatment of customers and colleagues. In decades of buying sample libraries, I've never experienced a developer so hostile to a customer. I get that the guy was upset that I shared my bad experience with his business publicly, but you don't go to war with a customer that had a poor experience with your business. I expected that Fluffy Audio would have responded to my support requests at that point, they didn't. There's a lot of other developers that make similar libraries that are excellent that treat their customers well.

  44. Thank You Tom....i am still learning the important in's and out's of working with a DAW....for example, last night i was wondering why the guitar in the latest project sounded so terrible, turns out i had turned on Automation for one thing and forgot to turn it off so i had, like, psycho automation (!!!!) going on with all four EQ's in the Pro Channel EQ module for the guitar track, little things i have to learn to be a lot more careful about....i think that's what happened with Seems Like Forever 🎶🎙️🎷🎸
