  1. Definitely! I'm in 4 times. You'll have a drop down list for each level (so, for example, the $99 level will give you a bunch, the $199 level will show all of those plus some extras). Plus, according to the post above if you go in another 11 times, we all move to another level. πŸ˜…

  2. I'm sure you know this but just as a reminder: ARC3 is for listening/mixing, not for export of mixes. Disable ARC3 before exporting unless you setup a listening bus that is not included in your export/mixdown process.

  4. I just installed build 134 on my laptop, and ran it on the onboard soundcard, amazing. Perfect sound. Bandlab will automatically switch to WASAPI But everyone should still use a dedicated soundcard, the sound will be better, more accurate for monitoring. Personal opinion. I have been using Sonar CakeWalk since 2010, and have never had any intention of switching to another software. Now it's free to use, supports continuous updates, and listens to user feedback. So grateful for that!

  5. Or they have plenty of new stuff and upgrades in the works to sell to everyone who get in on the GP and are now into their products!

  9. Well that is it for me. I have ridden all the rides in the amusement park, some more than once. I'll will stick around to see how this thing turns out. Oh, the drama! Oh the suspense. Besides, I need to see if I get kicked off the island when this thing reaches 19.

  12. We can now import multiple MIDI tracks linearly. "To import back-to-back instead of multiple tracks, hold down CTRL+SHIFT when dragging the MIDI files into a project." I just discovered you can do the same with audio tracks... Is this new? It would have saved me so hours on a project a few years ago when I had to load several audio files but, wanted them one after another all on the same tracks.

  13. Did I say the StingRay is a beauty? Tomorrow is my first test recording session. I did a track with the Epi bass and I'm going to do the same track and see if the StingRay gives it more bite.

  14. Not really a T-RackS module, more of a standalone mastering suite to me. Not sure how did the t.rex badge sneak in there. Probably when lying down side by side with one of the T-Racks modules in the warehouse.

  19. I just checked the latest build.. On the bounce to tracks box, ENTER or RETURN is not mapped to OK, so you are forced to use the mouse to click 'OK' Is it possible to have it to where you can just press ENTER/RETURN to hit OK to start the bounce? On the old box it worked fine. Small fix but helps with workflow.

  20. Has anyone used an Apex220 calibration mic with ARC 3? Got the software in the GB and I noticed a nearby music shop rents them for a few dollars a week. Was wondering if it would do the job.

  21. I picked up ARC3 in the GB, I used my calibration mic with cal file with it to balance my studio. I have been using it for a few weeks now and its a keeper! A lot less bass, but I hear much more of the rest of the mix. And it's easily defeatable if I want to hear my mix in a bass heavy environment. Probably the best way to cope with a lot less than perfect bedroom studio. At least the mix I have done with it were easier to do and sounded better.

  22. If the message is popping up you have user edited transients in your project, perhaps inadvertantly. You can ignore that warning and save if you don't care about the edits.

  24. Seems like you can't win in this game. People complain when you don't update often enough. People complain when you update too often. I guess IKM could implement an incremental patch system so that you do not have to download the whole batch every time. What is probably more onerous is that you have to download the whole of Amp5 even if you only own one or two plugins. You think you are being censured? Then why am I still able to read your post? Rather, I think it is what people call giving a different perspective. It is not really IKM's fault you have a crappy Internet connection. So why are you downloading the update again?

  28. Probably why it's still there. Some marketing guy probably said 'we need to take out all the T-Rex from all the T-Racks', so the one on the console survided the great marketing meteor! And its pretty discreet, easy to miss.

  29. That sounds really nice, Reid. Good job. You know, I've know of this dev a long time. He's a class act and I really respect him. But I haven't picked up one of his libraries yet. My friend Jay Asher has said really good things about Indiginus's libraries. I'm not sure if this is the one for me, but your piece made me appreciate it even more than the dev's demo. Thanks for sharing that.

  31. The answer was 3. Just got power back after 20 days. We were very fortunate. Many neighbors and friends were not. Destruction and loss of life all the way up to the east coast. It's just horrifying. Hurricanes suck. Craig and Shane, my wife and I both got a laugh from your posts... The dog was not amused. He loves his momma. Now I'm gonna see if the EA installer finished downloading through the phone tether. I have power but no internet.

  34. So like a bunch of folks here, when this promotion ends I will own just about every piece of Software iK provides. Food for thought, since iK is basically giving away the store I can't help but feel the dreaded "S" word is coming for future updates: SUBSCRIPTION !!! 😨

  38. Reactivation credits don't apply to Amplitube, or many other IK software products. You can always download them as often, and for as long as you wish! But any downloads under the "Sounds" tab in Product Manager are subject to expiration. So IK reactivation credits only apply to them.

  39. We just updated the EA build to 134. Build 134 has a single fix to address a hang with the Realtek ASIO driver. If you have this driver installed you can update to this build to try it. We've unblocked this driver from the compatibility list for now.

  44. Easy: Cakewalk: hot-rodded vintage Dodge. Lots of quirks, manual shift, but on certain types of tracks (heh heh) it can blow the doors off of more recent rides when under the control of a skilled driver. Much-imitated to this day. Requires addition of third-party add-ons to be competitive. Parent company changed hands multiple times, got to the point of bankruptcy before being rescued by foreign interests. Fun for everyone, but it's especially loved by men over 35 who think that anything newer (which is just about everything) is for kids or dilettantes. Studio One: Hybrid. Modern, efficient, clean, but the version that is plug-in enabled costs substantially more. REAPER: Indy Car. Takes a long time to get good at it, but once you do, you can really fly. The more you customize it past the standard configuration the faster you can go. Some people pay to use it, others don't. Seems to go a long time between fatal crashes. Pro Tools: SUV. Annoyingly ubiquitous, overpriced, consumes more than its share of resources, people who use it seem unaware of the existence of other vehicles. Was considered cutting edge long ago, now it's the choice of responsible grown-ups with well-paying jobs who can't imagine living without it. Ableton Live!: Lowered Acura with neon lights, 12" subs, wide tiny profile tires and ground fog effect. Popularity is outstanding among teens, veteran users find it somewhat harder to see the appeal. Awesome for doing loops that kids love but old people think is just noise, although the world is starting to get the drift. Samplitude: Citroen. Made in Europe, said to be reasonably popular there, but you don't know anyone who uses it. Mixcraft: Mini Cooper. Fun, easy to operate. Will get you to your destination, but runs a greater risk of being outgrown. Cubase: 80's Volvo station wagon. Still popular among broke working musicians who originally got it for free. Not the sexiest, but retains its utility over many decades, will likely never die until all of its kind have become obsolete. Also been through multiple owners. FL Studio: Volkswagen E-UP/HondaE. Excels when used in an urban environment. Demographic skews younger; older ones are concerned that you can't get far enough with it.
