  1. Is this plug-in stable?

  2. If we make it another 25 years and we can still "buy" software for a general-purpose computer outside an app store, and not have a subscription for everything down to the audio interface drivers I'll consider it a win. more realistically, if I'm still around and making music in another 25 years at all I'll consider it a win

  3. Oh boy. this drama will continue for another month. LOL!!! I think I might have figured out what IKM are doing with this GB.. and Kudos to them. Smart move and good way to expand customer base and appease existing customers.

  4. Juste woke up and saw the counters! This is my first GB and it is gonna be the best ever! Thanks IK! Ok, maybe IK's 50th anniversary GB will beat it!

  12. But I'm still pushing for the return of "Gear I don't own" in Custom Shop. And not just because I like to see the "Nothing to display" message when I click it

  16. I've posted it around that we're supposed to change that behavior in the next major version of T-RackS but I don't have a specific timeline for that.
    3 points
  17. Yes, I panicked and thought I hadn't put similar text on the T-RackS 5 page but I found it was there. The SampleTank 4 page also has similar text to make sure people are not confused. We will always have new software on the horizon. Also some new hardware should arrive n 2022 as well. Nice, glad you are in and the 10K was more of a nail-biter than I expected it to be so you're not the only one surprised. I knew we'd make it but I really thought it would be a little sooner than we did. Try adding EQ 81 at the end of the chain. You don't even have to change anything but the level to taste, really, but you can also do the "Jason Sadites" trick and push the input and lower the output to match the level back to normal and get great results too. My suggestion is more subtle but still noticeable. Awesome, you all pushed to get the extension through so congrats and thanks to your colleagues here. Well, don't let anybody else see that. The plan is still to fix that gripe in T-RackS 6. The ability to show/hide gear you don't have was very well-received in AmpliTube, since the gear there isn't set up as "single" processors so it was daunting inside the whole rig when you dealt with stuff you don't have in the way if you didn't intend to try or buy it. But having happy campers NOW is a great thing. I actually went to bed early between about 1-2AM EST (I am a night owl, after all) and my day doesn't officially start until 10AM EST and I walked into a doozy this morning. You all REALLY pulled through, I get to see the reports each morning ("Beyond the Counter: The Peter-IK Story") and even though I knew you'd make it I was pretty shocked by the push. Nicely done. And you mostly motivated yourselves, I made a point to mention in a morning meeting that people were creating charts and spreadsheets and gave credit to you all for this. Thanks!

  18. @Terry Kelley Rolling back without providing any info is not going to help us solve the issue you are running into before we release. Can you provide like to a small project that has this issue? By any chance are you using the export buffer size higher than your audio device buffer size. There is an issue we're investigating there.
    3 points
  19. There's nothing is EA99 that I need at this moment so I will wait for the dust to settle and stick with 058. I tried advanced too but not every combination of buffer and other settings. I would like a setting that is effectively "Just Mix Down The Whole Damn Song As It Sounds Like When It Plays" without wondering if I need some setting tweaked to accomplish what the toolbar Export does - when it works. I get that to be able to export the various buses, clips, tracks, etc. to do some pretty slick stuff requires the dialog to be rather complex. But a "Just Mix Down the Damn Song" button would be cool too in the Advanced settings unless advanced effects the tool bar export. I haven't tried that yet.

  22. mibby - I have a bad habit of allowing plugins to up the volume. Most companies do this. They know it makes them sound better - But, it makes me mad when I have a plugin that has no output gain reduction. That's cheating LOL!

  24. Five or six, probably. Things have slowed down a little from the max, but still kicking along at a relatively high rate. If you take the average signup rate (around 26/hour) from the 7k mark when the "race" started until now, you'd expect to reach 10,470+ by midnight tomorrow. Overall, the average rate of signups today is ~39/hour. We may be in "unstoppable force" territory at this point.

  25. My favorite brand is June's Blood Orange. It's a local product, and always on back order even here, so you may not be able to find it. It's a 1:1 CBD/THC. Very mellow. This is what combining June's chewie nuggets with a handful of newly-acquired virtual instruments produced. The project was just a platform for experimenting with some recently-acquired plugins: Boz's handclap, finger snaps and foot stomps, Spitfire's solo cello, Skaka and a $4 choir library called Singers2. A friend listened to it and was annoyed by its lack of thematic consistency. That's the downside of composing high: short attention span. https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14244593

  26. ONE ANIMAL TO SERVE THEM ALL The HORSES library combines the largest and most detailed sound pool of horse recordings with an easy-to-use, time saving KONTAKT 5 instrument that makes moving horses – especially crowds of them – a manageable and even fun and simple task to set to sound. Movies and shows like “Game of Thrones” have profited greatly from this outstanding library. 27. For owners of Mixbus Mixbus32C v7.1 is a good one and a partial list of changes is provided below! We try to provide a wide range of new features and fixes so there's always "something for everyone" in a Mixbus update! I'd like to introduce a new product specialist on the Mixbus team: Nathan McFarland. You might have already spoken with Nathan on our support email or phone. Nathan is a long-time Mixbus user, a guitar player, and a music producer who works with talented Nashville artists and bands. The immediate effect of Nathan joining the team is a reworking of the "Slip Edit" feature in Mixbus's editor as well as some improvements in our editing shortcuts. Nathan and I took a deep dive into the behavior of Playlists and Plugins for this release. You can watch a video of me and Nathan jamming together and making an unintentional funk song with the new playlist and varispeed features. https://harrisonconsolesstore.onfastspring.com/offer-39sdk3f5?mc_cid=18f4eb83f5&mc_eid=UNIQID

  31. Thank you Makke. It is a bit long, as is most afrobeat music. It could definitely be improved by adding in a bit more variety to keep one's attention. I am on a steep learning curve with this kind of music and using MIDI and MIDI type VST's. Hi Nigel. Tom's comments are always helpful to me. As I mentioned to Makke, I am on a vertical learning curve in trying to capture the nuances of this style of music. I have been watching much more of this music on YouTube. As far as the horns, there is also a lot to learn there -- e.g., the various available vsts, how to capture the timing, breathing etc., and that doggone piano roll view. I am a guitar player (some might disagree with that) and this stuff is very much different. However, the rhythms of this music have captured me and I will continue making feeble attempts at pursuing this style of music. Thanks much for listening and I very much appreciate your comments. Hi RobertWS. Thanks for responding. While I do enjoy a good discussion, Wookiee brings up a good point (stated above) and I would hate to mess things up for others on this forum. Therefore, I shall not continue this particular dialogue. Thanks again for your input. Hi Wookiee. You are absolutely right and I have not carried this discussion further. My passion for this topic overwhelmed my good judgement. Thanks for the reminder. Hello Myriad Rocker. I have a lot to learn in this style of music. I appreciate your comments and have added notes of your comments for use in re-doing this number or in new attempts. Thanks for listening Lynn. I appreciate the encouragement and will continue my attempts at this style of music.

  32. Thanks. I wouldn't mind spending the $5 if it was an easy tool to create drumless tracks. I'd love to be a less crappy drummer, and I like banging on the e-kit for some light exercise
