  4. Quite the opposite in the Deals forum I think. They just like to hang around with us CW users because we're better looking than them.

  6. It appears to be fixed! Here are two scenarios I have tried. Open Previous Project and Save without doing a SAVE AS - FIXED Started an Empty Project, Loaded VSL Synchron Pianos and HALionSonic - Save - FIXED I also was able to save some previous broken projects with their pre-release version. It also appears the version number was bumped up a little more as well. I would say go get it.

  24. I hope I don't get banned for posting facts. -Glaciers were Already Retreating Before 1900 -Ice ages have been coming and going for eons. -The last 20 years have shown zero warming (hence the switch to 'climate change'). -Man produces less than 1/2 of 1 percent of C02 on the planet. -It was warmer in the 15th century than it is now. -The greatest warming in the 20th century was between 1935 and 1950. -NASA confirms: Sea levels FALLING across the planet in 2016 and 2017. -NASA Data: Earth Cooled by Half a Degree Celsius From '16-'18 -Scientists have been caught manipulating and hiding data. -None, NONE, of their prior predictions have come true. -In 1995 Al Gore said by 2005 Miami will be under water "due to Global warming". Miami is NOT underwater. -In 2004, the Department of Defense released a report assuring the world Climate Change would destroy all of us by the year 2020. Nope! -The highest record temperature ever reported was 136 degrees Fahrenheit in Libya in 1922. The record high temperature for the United States was 134 degrees Fahrenheit in Death Valley, California in 1913. -Excavations in the Antarctic have shown vegetation use to cover the continent. -If all the C02 was removed from the atmosphere, we would die. Plants need C02 to live and we need plants to live.

  27. There's a new tutorial on craiganderton.org - How to Use Cakewalk with Komplete Kontrol. In theory, Cakewalk doesn’t officially integrate with Native Instruments’ Komplete Kontrol keyboards—but in practice, there are ways to make this happen by using ACT. And, even though Komplete keyboards’ documentation says it works as a general-purpose MIDI control surface only when operating in stand-alone mode with the 5-pin DIN connections, there’s a workaround for that, too. It's kind of a long article, but if you want to use the Komplete keyboards with Cakewalk, I'm pretty sure you'll find the answers you need. Just note that you really have to follow the steps carefully, if you miss a step things won't work.

  28. M-Oxygen has turned out in one way like another take on my ‘M-Unity’ Theme yet it’s almost completely different as almost everything has been changed giving it a somewhat similar yet different appearance. Some special edits in this Theme I’d like to mention…. Gradients on all button states such as Off, On, Hover and press (where available) all match, something that is missing from most, if not all of my other Themes. The Hover state buttons (When hovering the cursor over the button) (where available) brighten up in the same way as Cakewalk makes the Control Bar Backgrounds brighten when you hover over them in any Theme. A new style of Knob to Cakewalk Themes from the Knobman website used in most knobbed areas of the Theme, there’s also another new style of knob used for the Pro-Channel PC4K Compressor Ratio knob. These took so long to get to fit right and display correctly and some nicer styles were attempted for the majority of knobs but I failed, maybe I’ll try them again for another Theme but it’s soooooo tricky! A new style of Fader to Cakewalk Themes completely designed by myself, just a simple design really but looks quite nice. (IMO) Larger text/icon for the Mix Module ‘Dim Solo’ and ‘Exclusive Solo’ Buttons, why were they so small when space allowed for larger like the other buttons of the same size? Also larger text/icons for the Performance Module Percentages. Free Download Here..... M-Oxygen Cakewalk Theme A combined total of around 150 hours, sometimes much more, goes in to creating each Theme I make, then there's more time spent to update them whenever BandLab makes changes or additions to the Cakewalk GUI to ensure any changed or new items display correctly and match the Theme, I also don't make all these Themes for myself, it's more of a hobby and to share the end results with the Cakewalk Community for their use and enjoyment at no charge, Any Tips/Donations via the following link for my time and efforts in creating and updating these are greatly appreciated, however small. Thank You! ❤️https://www.paypal.me/MatthewJohnWhite

  37. Plug-ins do not take up much space; samples and audio loops do. Before moving anything, consider reviewing the disk usage on C. Many installers to not provide a way to install VST3 plug-ins anywhere except the recommended "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" folder. IIRC, some DAWs require VST3 plug-ins use the recommended folder. CbB does not but does have some special rules about scanning the default VST3 folder. Directory junctions are the best method for relocating folders from C to another drive. Once moved and the junctions are setup, no additional changes are needed to tell programs where to look for data because as far as the programs are concerned the data has not moved. Here is an example of how to move the "Cakewalk Content" folder. If there are legacy SONAR installs in the folder, Cakewalk Content can be fairly large. To relocate "Cakewalk Content" to the D drive 1) Using Windows Explorer move "C:\Cakewalk Content" to D:\ 2) Open a command window as administrator and type mklink /j "C:\Cakewalk Content" "D:\Cakewalk Content" Directory junctions work for moving almost anything and they are very safe. No registry edits, no uninstall/re-install and moving folders is easy. If plug-in folders must be moved here is the process to move the "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" to "D:\VST3" 1) Using Windows Explorer move the VST3 folder in "C:\Program Files\Common Files" to D:\ 2) Open a command window as administrator and type mklink /j "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" "D:\VST3"

  38. Fine-looking light theme. Easy on the eyes, quite legible. I have but one suggestion: delete the theme images for Browser/Media Tab (collapsed), Browser/Plugins Tab (collapsed), Browser/Notes Tab (collapsed), Browser/Help Tab (collapsed), as well as the corresponding collapsed tabs for the Inspector (Arranger, Clip, Prochannel, etc.). This will make those icons more closely match the rest of the theme.

The update to version 1.1 not only includes 1.4+ GB of additional sample content, it also adds a tuning switch that lets you switch from 440 Hz to 432 Hz. 42. That thing is amazing! I don't know what sort or magic sauce they poured into it, but so far everything I've run through it sounds better! Well worth waiting for a sale! It's basically a preset machine that you can tweak a bit, but that's useful for those of us without pro mastering skills. Provides a starting point and signal chain for respective genres. https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/lurssen/ What Gavin Lurssen has to say...

  43. Listening to the opening bars the drums seem a little awash in reverb, which as the song progresses shows it self in the toms booming/hanging a little, perhaps that was your intent. Overall the drums do end up sounding in a different space to my furry ears, which is shame as it is quite a well craft song with some nice licks on the guitar, nice touch with the B3.

  44. Still wondering why Bill stays in that neighborhood... Summer season: Hot with lots of falling rain and flooding water! Winter season: Freezing with lots of snow and frozen water! Is the only reason you're still there due to the fact that the roads are never "dry" enough to drive??! Yikes! 😮
