if only there was some sort of waveform describing the answer, then we could all understand it.4 points

ok, I'll bite and I apologize in advance if I'm spoiling the game - go to the link posted by @dee, scroll down a couple of pages where it shows the issue content, look at the entry for page 82 and enter the different words there, it doesn't take many tries...4 points

It's looking very good, including glitch free patch changing, MIDIbox, new patches... Watch more about it on John's latest livestream (which also looks at the new Serum 1.3 update)...3 points

This is from the Support FAQ, it's about the $249.99 voucher, but I imagine it's the same for all.3 points

I was all over them when they did those $4 a piece offers (after coupon). Now, not so much. I did get SPL Iron for $15, though, but that’s about the end of it.2 points

That audio sounds like it was recorded on a wax cylinder without any wax on it. Worth finding better quality for:2 points

I am love, love, loving the visual clip gain stuff. That, and the new Melodyne 5 update with leveling features has made leveling vocals so easy. What used to take me 20 minutes is now a five minute (tops) job. Thank you!!2 points

Beato has 1.5M subscribers on YT related to music. I'll gladly take you up on that bet. You can see he has a long list of supports as well as links for paid products/services. I'm postive he is making a nice living doing "music" full time. He does all the work himself, so all that money is goign to him and his work. He goes live and people throw money in the tip jar. Watch this for a little bit and just get a taste of the kind of money he can make:2 points

I got a real one, but it no longer works. If I am brave enough to get my soldering iron out (I have been procrastinating for a long time.) I will try to replace the backup battery which is probably why its lost its memory. The presets were loaded from a tape cassette but I have downloaded the files and I hope they will load from the audio out on my laptop. Meanwhile I will be giving this VSTi a whirl!1 point

How interesting! Your post mentions some experimenting with a set of libraries I have OFTEN almost pulled the trigger on, like the ERAs particularly (which never really go on sale) and the Voices of War (which I just missed the sale on!!) . . . so I really like this genre or palette if you will . . . and I like your song as well! I would only say a bit more reverb or delay on the lead violin might help? And some more sparkle elements up top in the eq spectrum would help what I think is a tiny offset towards the lower tones. My primary thought is "why only 1:35" which is a bummer! More please!!!! cheers, -Tom1 point

Waves Element 2 is a great analog emulation. Fat and warm! Got it from Waves a while back on one of their stupid deals. Grab it while it's free! Or Waves has it direct for $29.99 right now.1 point

If you think you need to work with those artists to be successful in music, I can't help you. You clearly haven't done any research, in the video he clearly states he can't even get ad revenue on most of his videos due to the way YT monities things and he uses copywrited songs in videos for education (just as you get with a music teacher in a paid environment). I don't follow the guy, but have watched a handfull of his videos over the years. Even with this limited exposure, it seems you have cast judgement on what you don't know. As for the titles, that video I linked also addresses that. The guy is surprisingly knowledgable and a lot of what he is doing on YT is actually for 'free". I'm betting you are not creating that level of content for free, if so please post it. My .02. Many "Youtubers" make more money and provide more value to the musician at large popluation than bands do these days. Think about the reach of 1.5M subscribers for a minute. I don't subscribe to his channel, and yet I've also seen his videos. Major TV stations don't even get that kind of viewship and enguagement.1 point
