I got a real one, but it no longer works. If I am brave enough to get my soldering iron out (I have been procrastinating for a long time.) I will try to replace the backup battery which is probably why its lost its memory. The presets were loaded from a tape cassette but I have downloaded the files and I hope they will load from the audio out on my laptop. Meanwhile I will be giving this VSTi a whirl!

How interesting! Your post mentions some experimenting with a set of libraries I have OFTEN almost pulled the trigger on, like the ERAs particularly (which never really go on sale) and the Voices of War (which I just missed the sale on!!) . . . so I really like this genre or palette if you will . . . and I like your song as well! I would only say a bit more reverb or delay on the lead violin might help? And some more sparkle elements up top in the eq spectrum would help what I think is a tiny offset towards the lower tones. My primary thought is "why only 1:35" which is a bummer! More please!!!! cheers, -Tom

If you think you need to work with those artists to be successful in music, I can't help you. You clearly haven't done any research, in the video he clearly states he can't even get ad revenue on most of his videos due to the way YT monities things and he uses copywrited songs in videos for education (just as you get with a music teacher in a paid environment). I don't follow the guy, but have watched a handfull of his videos over the years. Even with this limited exposure, it seems you have cast judgement on what you don't know. As for the titles, that video I linked also addresses that. The guy is surprisingly knowledgable and a lot of what he is doing on YT is actually for 'free". I'm betting you are not creating that level of content for free, if so please post it. My .02. Many "Youtubers" make more money and provide more value to the musician at large popluation than bands do these days. Think about the reach of 1.5M subscribers for a minute. I don't subscribe to his channel, and yet I've also seen his videos. Major TV stations don't even get that kind of viewship and enguagement.
