  6. I just received an email from Presonus with a voucher code for a free copy of Waves Super Tap Delay. So check your inboxes if you own S1P. I already own the delay as part of Waves Gold but appreciate the offer and could always use it on another PC.

  10. If Larry tanks, we all tank. For his preservation and safety, I say we all send him a bottle of hand sanitizer and a roll of toilet paper.

  11. I'm going to use mine to buy Sunset Studio for $88...which is still too much, but can't see it getting much cheaper than that except second hand... I have 27 Credits, and if a buy 100 more for $70 with 30 Jampoints and 25 for $18 then the total to get 150 credits for SS is $88

  14. Thanks for these Larry! I keep forgetting about all of the Waves downloadable preset packs. On a similar subject I had also forgotten about the T-Racks 5 presets until the recent update when I happened to click on the "download resources" button in my IK account. There are quite a few available....

  16. Hope you're not STIR-CRAZY yet! Sorry to pester you with so many emails but I had one left in my monthly quota and I'm excited about the Flintpope Ableton packs I'm finding in the depths of my hard drive. PLUS I made the latest pack (for WAVETABLE) from scratch yesterday and I'm bursting for you to try it. I think it's an intriguing instrument. Keep checking back as there is a lot more on its way. All in one place here https://flintpope.net/ableton/

  20. @lapasoa You select a note(notes) and press Ctrl+Numpad8, it can't go faster! I have even note lenghts on a hotkey, so I Loop a section , go from note to note with TAB(shift-TAB) and change them with Numpad 2,8(semitone+-), Ctrl+Numpad2,8(octave+-), Nudge Keys, Shift+Left/right(note length) and Ctrl+Plus/Minus(Velocity). For me the perfect way to work if I have to make a Brass Section or Strings or just some Melodies or Basses....... @winkpain In the Settings- Hotkeys in the global bindings scroll down near to the end just before "Studioware Files" of type in "Transpose" for to see the Transpose CAL. Then bind it with a Key, for me Ctrl+Numpad 8 and 2 work best! Bassman. P.S. In the Cloud Link I've uploaded CALs for Note Length and Velocity Note_Length_+10.cal Note_Length_-10.cal Transpose -12.cal Transpose +12.cal Velocity +3.cal Velocity -3.cal Velocity -1.cal Velocity +1.cal

  21. Since my usual complaint about drum midi is that they are too busy, I went with Ballads. Remember, if you have something like Melodyne, you can convert these loops into MIDI as well.

  29. Over my head, but some of you might find it useful . . . ? https://adamstark.co.uk/project/sound-analyser/ "The Sound Analyser is an audio plug-in that allows you to load a number of different audio analyses in parallel. The result of the audio analysis is then sent via OSC so it can be used in other applications. The idea for the plug-in came about through my work with visual artists Davide Quayola & Natan Sinigaglia, when using audio analysis to inform a live visual accompaniment to musical performers. . . . The Sound Analyser can send audio features such as pitch, amplitude, FFT data, spectral centroid and chroma features via OSC over a network. The system was used at two classical concerts in Paris in 2012 and 2013." The videos from the concerts, especially the first, are fascinating.

  30. Hm, strange, I have 148 cabs from them and if I exclude IRs (for instance pointing to empty dir) it is loading licenses in about 1-3 seconds. Few seconds more it needs to load info about online content not owned to update menu (overall 326 items currently). After initial load it works without any noticeable delays for me. Of course if I picked any not owned cab it would connect to server to load and insert demo sound. But I tend to turn off online checkbox as I need them only if I am interesting in testing sound of cabs before I decide if I like it to buy (if any decent promo available I am aware of). What is annoying me - besides of not keeping my checkbox settings for next session - is using position number for mics when changing cab instead of mic name, mess about presets, no possibility to check which bundles belongs picked cabs, etc... There are plenty of workflow things which definitely should be improved. And not really happy with my contact with support when I tried to replace cabs which I got from ARC... But well... Many supports seems very similar. Super helpful in easy, typical cases but when anything more complicated then many of them show user is alone... Happily there are exceptions... But overall I like it very much. Using plain IRs is very tedious hard work. For instance I had a bundle from Celection IR cabs. They were great but there so inconvenient to look through them checking dirs/IRs and mix different mics and try and again... So I bought their bundle for exact the same IRs (Celestion licensed) so now I can just use GUI to move mics etc... But if you are experiences any serious problems I understand you... I was totally discouraged by BIAS AMP2 and their stupid login dialog which makes me stopped to use it... Support experience was also awful... If you are saying a support guy you have exactly the same issue on different computers and OSes and he keeps telling you to reinstall... Well... Everybody has her/his limits... But anyway... We have currently more serious problems to think of than plugins with their issues...

  33. Can't find any specific info on this, so I don't know if you buy the Strings Bundle, and they send you Insolidus, or if you have to add it to the cart, but usually it's the former with 8DIO and not the later https://8dio.com/instrument/century-strings-bundle/

  34. Love the album cover. Nice mix you made here. Something one could dance to. I don't often mix loops so I don't feel qualified to comment on the way they are mixed. Sounded like a very good mix for the genre to my ears. Thanks for sharing!

  38. Unbelievable! simply unbelievable. 😁 That out of the way, I must admit that I'm see a LOT of attempts to channel people's thinking and reduce freewill. I think I've proven that just saying an opinion (even if it's backed by a lot of sources and evidence) will still get some people triggered to jump down your throat. I don't blame them, that's just how they are being programmed 24/7. The last couple of generations have each gotten worse which makes sense if you understand that the time children are most like a sponge is before the age of 7. During that time they absorb whatever they see and hear from their "authoritative" figures without any conscious filtering. Unfortunately, a LOT of these authoritative figures are spewing what they've been programmed (parents, teachers, religious leaders, politicians, doctors, etc.). As I've alluded to before, I see a huge shift in bias from family and community to power and greed. It makes me sad and angry. Businesses now consult with insurance companies when they have a potentially harmful product to see if the insurance settlements will be less than the cost to pull things and fix them. Doctors get the vast majority of their knowledge about medicines from the pharmaceutical reps (and they DO get kick-backs for prescribing many of them). Farmers overuse their land to try and grow and much as they can (plant nutrients are down well over 80% since the 1950's). Airplanes get rushed into use even with fatal flaws (Hello Boeing!). People will get up early and sit in traffic just to go downtown and join a protest where they ask for free stuff, but they won't do it for an actual job. I see corners being cut everywhere as long as there's a profit to be made. I could go on, but I don't want to get depressed. I just hope that people WAKE THE F*** UP!!! And soon. Now, to offset all of that, here's some fun cute animals to make you smile:
