Marc Cormier 870 Posted February 4 But I have 7 copies of all their other plug-ins after the Group Buy. Totally unfair. 1
BTP 109 Posted February 4 Second one that I didn't choose in the Group Buy. Nice.
telecode 101 1,356 Posted February 4 Cool freebie. Their X- series is worth playing around with. Lots of good mileage achieved from X-time so far.
Magic Russ 674 Posted February 4 I don't like that the cabinet emulation seems to be on on all of their model presets for this component. I do like the X-Drive Rat and Muff emulations much more than the ones which come with Amplitube.
aidan o driscoll 768 Posted February 4 (edited) Ah so that might be the reason. I was logging into IK Product Manager to do some updates this avo BUT its accepting the credentials and then the circle of dots whirls around, eventual error might not have proper internet connection, cannot access ... erm I do .. Amplitube 5 Max, no, does not seem to include the pedals, since they came out later. I think Total Studio 3.5 does include them though: https://youtu.be/kZrpYaeVW-s?t=43 but I'm not certain. I'm on At5 standard plus the various other pieces from the group buy.

If it does than it's news to me. Maybe that's why I didn't get the popup.

cclarry 25,243 Posted February 4 The problem with IK is that they can't seem to land in the "go zone"! They do something REALLY great, like a Group Buy, THEN they do something REALLY stupid...like offer FREE stuff that's only free if you don't have it! Some people may want 2 of them...or 12 of them...what does it matter? If you are offering something for FREE you shouldn't be excluding your PAYING customers! That's just COMPLETELY IDIOTIC!

Of course I do...but what difference should that make? Maybe I want two of them...or 12 of them....it shouldn't matter at all how many I already own! Excluding those who have paid money to your company is NEVER a "winning" strategy!
