  1. It turns out I must have bumped the knob on my interface. I normally have it set around 2:00, but saw that it was set to 3:00. Turning back to 2:00 fixed the problem. However, when I was getting the clipping the input meters on Revalver were reading somewhere in the middle and not showing how hot my input was.
  2. Release notes for EZkeys 1.3.0 2020-05-20 EZkeys 1.3.0 is now available to download using the Product Manager or from the ‘My Products’ area in your Toontrack account. Please note that version 1.3.0 is required for the support of EZkeys products released from this point forward (Q2 2020). CHANGES MIDI dragged from EZkeys now includes chord information that can be used by EZbass. The RTAS format has been removed. On Mac, EZkeys is now 64-bit only and requires macOS 10.9 or higher. On Windows, the standalone now has support for WASAPI audio devices but no longer supports MME. On Mac in the audio device settings in the standalone, there is no longer a device type menu, since it always only contained “Core Audio.” BUG FIXES On Mac, after you had opened a menu in the chord wheel, the chord wheel started flickering when the mouse was moved over it and tooltips stopped working. In Ableton Live, EZkeys should no longer get suspended if it has been silent for a while and its window is closed. The chord analysis of recorded blocks in time signatures other than 4/4 should work better now. When recording from a host track, notes at the very beginning of the track were not always recorded. The Default Project is no longer overwritten if the sound libraries are missing at startup. If a song block had been shortened at beginning and the “hidden/virtual beginning” was before the start of the track, the block would be moved 1/64 note to the right when the project was loaded or when the block was involved in an undo action. If a song block had been placed at a triplet note, loading the project or undoing something involving the block would sometimes incorrectly move the block to the nearest 1/64 note. The Clean button in the Chord Selector is now updated (enabled/disabled) on every chord change.
  3. I gave in and got a couple of the amp packs including the Fender Deluxe, Morse, and Laney. I noticed something odd though. The cleans sound great with my single coils/split coils, but when I play them through humbuckers, I get clipping. Not good pushing-amp clipping, but more like a click with some static. If I put a drive box in front it sounds like it should, and the crunch sounds seem alright. It's just the cleans that give me that problem.
  4. I don't recall seeing this mentioned, but does it have MIDI Out?
  5. Thanks. It looks like some of them have DI versions available, but I will keep in mind that the cabs and mic are fixed for most of these.
  6. I do have to ask about the ACT Amp profiles, are any of these any good?
  7. Revalver is one of the few amp sim suites that hosts other VSTs. This is something that could be very useful for people who use multiple hosts and don't want to set up device chains/track templates multiple times. Or people who have found that NI's Choral and Replika sound pretty good on guitar.
  8. Fine, I should have used the term "Case Fatality Rate", as was shown in the infographic.
  9. Hard to believe that game is 7 years old already.
  10. Like Peter said, this is for corporate/industrial applications. Partly to avoid accidental contact, like running into someone as they are opening a door from the other side, and partly to remind people exactly how far apart 6 feet is (or 1.5 m or whatever)
  11. Actually the worldwide mortality case fatality rate is 7.3% worldwide, 6.1% in US. https://informationisbeautiful.net/visualizations/covid-19-coronavirus-infographic-datapack/ Edit: updated to use more accurate term CFR instead of mortality.

I find that it's a great creative tool. I will often finding myself coming up with chord progressions that I might not have found playing guitar. However, I don't always find the sound convincing. Maybe they could provide MIDI out in a future release.
  14. Is mixcraft's transport still in the middle of the screen?
  15. Just out of curiousity, how does this compare to the Crowd Choir project SonicCouture did a while back?
  16. This would very much be a no brainer to someone who is starting out. However, with the collection I have, I am still on the fence Thanks to a few group buys over the years, I have most of Amplitube and a lot of T-Racks. There are a few custom shop pieces in Amplitube which look interesting. As for T-Racks, I'm not sure how many compressors and eq's I need. I'm not interested in Syntronik. I'm not sure I need SampleTank either, although I'm open to the possibility that it might have a few exceptional libraries. MODO Bass might be the deciding factor for me.
  17. I wasn't sure if this mailing wasn't sent out a week late.
  18. And there's no way these samples were ever worth $800+ like they. The one-shots are not mapped for any of the major drum samplers, and the collections with loops typically contain less than a dozen. Still, if you are looking for certain sounds, there are a few interesting ones there.
  19. Does a Boss Katana count? Otherwise, I'm between Amplitube and S-Gear, often with AT4 pedals running into S-Gear.
  20. For freestanding effects: Acon Multiply NI Choral I have always been a fan of the MXR Stereo Chorus on guitar, and Amplitube Slash and Bias FX do pretty good versions.
