Virharmonic's Bohemian Violin (and other instruments I'd assume) also use CodeMeter and I don't think I've ever hated a piece of software more. If someone thinks iLok is bad, they need to give CodeMeter a try to calibrate their perspective. So many background processes, local servers and other shady things going on that it really feels like actual malware opening attack vectors to your computer. I've gone through my computer with a mine detector and still feel like I've missed something. Like, I get that devs want to protect their creations, but at least make ethical choices and keep your customers in mind when you pick a DRM. CodeMeter is not it. So thanks for the heads up! If you can, avoid anything that has CodeMeter. Whatever requires it, is not worth it.

Beware, this plugin auto installs CodeMeter, along with some background processes, without word or warning. Now I get figure out how to remove CodeMeter. Ugh. Please developers, ask first before installing 3rd party licensing.

Yep, i dont know if that works that well for them on the brand recognition and satisfaction side. Is like those loyalty vouchers that only work when the products are not on sale and you end up having much better deals on sales than using those vouchers on full price. Ok i get it you dont want me to use it on sales periods, but at least when on full price let me use that damn thing and get a slightly better deal than what is usual on sales, otherwise that voucher is unusable🤷🏻‍♂️ Recently i had an issue with a developer and they offered me a 25% off voucher, the product was on sale 50% off…. But to use that voucher the sale did not apply … so if i apply the voucher the product would get 25% pricier than if bought directly. Even if i use it outside those sales periods i am better off waiting for the next sales which are frequent. In the end i dont think this is a good look

Install is happening tonight after work. Thanks for all of the great suggestions and things to look out for. I still love CbB, but I am tired of waiting for the new Sonar to come out . If I am going to pay for a DAW, I think the one with an excellent External Hardware Insert structure is what I'd pay for. "Pipeline XT" is awsome. and it it only cost me $180.00 wrapped up in a nifty DAW called Studio One 6 Pro. 🙃

The problem is the OP attitude that things should just work the way you think they should work and not bother to learn the very basic things that everyone had to learn to start recording with any DAW. There’s are literally hundreds of tutorials on Cakewalk now and every one of those series starts with stuff like this. Or ya read the manual but I don’t blame people for not wanting to do that as it overwhelmingly huge. I saw this post first and right away saw that it was as simple as what it was. The clue was the example of the virtual keyboard not working too. There’s only a few reasons that would happen. But I sort of try and keep quiet once someone else is helping because too many helpers gets confusing. And actually my normal reply would have been to post a link to the midi tutorials. It’s much faster than re writing the manual for folks 😁

Yea, not liking that at all. Plus, when I tried to register it on a Mac, it asked me to find an appropriate app to open it. An app to open a line of text? Nope. Deleted the plugin and all I could find of CodeMeter and some other background thing. Shame too, I really wanted to try this as I'd love to get the full Rhodes plug in one day. Well, at least it cured my GAS for it.

Greetings, I was pondering feeling fragile or something like that at times especially some difficult times this year, and not liking that feeling so I made this song about those moments. Some is literal and some is a bit of my NY sarcasm and I made up a few new words (i think). I used Instacomposer 2 to mess with chords and phrases initially. I like it for ideas. I like that is has drums now. I used SI bass, d pro and kontact session horns, sampletank organ , addictive drums and cakewalk session drummer, new nation blaque guitar, vital for accents, the free Miroslav Philharmonik for stringy layer.
