Two weeks ago, Dary sent me some instrument tracks to develop into a song, and here is the result: https://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14668987 I received from him tracks with drums, the opening guitar riff, synth bass, a sampled funk guitar, and a synth rhythm track. These became the intro, verses, and pre-choruses. I wrote the chorus and provided the words, melody, bass, additional drums, and more guitar. Daryl sang backup on the choruses to supplement my vocals. Considering how fast this came together, we come here looking for your ideas and suggestions. Not saying it isn't lame, but at least for the $25 voucher, it was rare you could find anything in the $32-$40 range. So unless I am mistaken, with the current prices on the website, the effective minimum spend is already $40.

It's also great for mixing bass when combining mic'd amp and DI inputs. The first video uses MAutoAlign and the second uses InPhase by Waves, but now that I've been Waves-free for over two years, I use MAutoAlign exclusively. I installed precisely ZERO of my dozens of Waves plugins on my new laptop.

^^^^ This ^^^^ In my use of the UVI Workstation and Falcon, especially with some of the pianos things can bog down fairly quickly with lots of activity. I have been able to come up with a crude workaround by placing several instances of the UVI Engine inside of UNIFY and setting keyranges to help spread the load so to speak. While not elegant, it works to some extent. Multithreading would tap into the potential of what this engine has to offer, but at this point it is like a Triple Crown winning race horse that has been hamstrung. Still holding out hope.

The Korg is connected to the Audiobox interface? If so no, no driver necessary. CbB “sees” only the Audiobox port. Is the Korg the sound source? Or is the midi driving a VSTi?

If you have the time try to see some of the venus theory videos about Falcon, or on UVI page that are also hosted by him. Some of them are pretty good and can help you to see if it fits you. In fact they are significantly different, i would say that Kontakt is more of a music composer instrument and Falcon more suitable for a sound designer.

But it's really a slightly refreshed 13900ks. No major architecture change. No major change in TDP. If you're not running a 13th Gen CPU, it makes sense. If you have a 13900k, it's not worth the cost/effort to upgrade (200MHz difference).

Great work guys!!! The forum is full of talent and you to are among the top. This is absoflippinlutely excellent. I don't know if it was intentional but this song has a bit of a Latin Afrobeat style to it. Particularly that guitar panned left and the percussion. That is one of my new favourite styles.
