HoRNet DeeLay FREE for 24 hours The deal expires on September 5th at 23:59:59 (Italian time) The HoRNet DeeLay is a good sounding vintage digital dub delay, it’s capable of common delay duties and it’s also up to the most demanding creative tasks. The vintage button gives the HoRNet DeeLay that typical early 90s sound where digital was still imperfect and with a character of its own. The DeeLay can make endless feedback loops and changing the delay time changes the pitch of the buffer creating funny and interesting noises, the time parameter can be modulated with an LFO allowing the creation of futuristic wobbling sounds. Since the delay is digital it has all the robotic artifacts of modulated digital delays instead of the smooth action of an analog emulated delay. Try it on vocals, guitars or anything that needs space, the HoRNet DeeLay will surprise you with it’s spacey yet focused sound. https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-deelay/17 points

Hey- They came through for me! (direct reply to my support request). Thank you UAD 🙏 I nice consolation prize for missing the NI mega-deal that, according to the forum time-stamps ended a couple hours before I crawled out of bed. <edit> Ignore. UAD came through with the $99 offer and I am a happy camper!4 points

All the licences came through almost instantly for me and I installed the hell out of the u-he ones almost immediately just in case! Komplete Ultimate I haven't though due to its size, but it showed up instantly and I picked a few things I wanted to install, so all good on both of those lots.4 points

I only got the Creative Bundle (for $99) and I’m happy at that $10/each level. But I’m hesitant to get the Mix Edition or Diamond, as they will undoubtedly grow larger with (many) more native titles. As for the Ultimate, that’s another story. If you buy it (after registering some hardware) you’ll get it all, including future native releases. Then again, UAD is on a roll, and who knows where they’ll land. I do consider a possibility that UAD 12 will go very low, but when… On the other hand, many plugins aren’t native yet and those are the ones I’m interested in, so I might wait. So for now, I’m thinking I’m fine with the instruments (while only missing the new Rhodes) and a few special FX like the ones on the Creative bundle. As for mixing and mastering plugs, I’ll stay on the fence. Hope this rambling helps somewhat.3 points

Give them ratings by assigning different colours. Green, yellow and red or whatever you like.3 points

That's exactly why I grabbed Hive.. I've got plenty of synths, but for some reason it's just fun and enjoyable for sound design. Bit lighter on CPU than Diva as well. They're all great though. u-he makes some solid kit!3 points

Now also on AudioDeluxe and JRR but codes are deactivated for Moog. You get Deluxe Bucks on audiodeluxe and can of course use your existing ones. https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products/audio-plugins/moog-mf-103s-12-stage-phaser3 points

LABORDAY2023 (-$50) coupon is good for about another 3 hours from this post! (insta-buy!) I'm glad I held off on the 1176, because this one isn't a part of the "Heritage" bundle that comes with an Apollo - which I have been thinking hard about purchasing. Plus, I've been looking to replace my Waves API2500 and, without even demoing, I'm betting this one will do nicely!3 points

In case anyone bought some u-he synth(s) and is new to u-he: They have plenty of free soundbanks in their Patchlib. It's easy to miss. They're a little hidden, because they're currently reworking their patchlib and you have to navigate to the old patchlib. There you can select your synth and will find plenty of soundbanks, most of which are free.3 points

Thanks, that's really helpful. It mirrors my own thinking, although the $25 and $50 coupons are going to expire in October and that's motivating me to use them haha. The Diamond Edition doesn't even include all the native plugins presently available so it's definitely only going to be a stepping stone, but the price per plugin is a lot better than buying any of this stuff piecemeal.2 points

I gave this the usual 30 second new plugin test ... and I reckon this is one that I might actually use. It's very handy being able to individually pan the two delay lines, instead of fixed left and right.2 points

I'm the complete opposite. I only use the manual for a plugin or sample library if I have no option to watch a video! True story. A few years ago one of my musician friends sent me a text to tell me that he just bought a new sample library and saw my name mentioned in the manual. The reality was, that was the first I learned of it, as I never looked at the manual for the sample library -- I watched the developer's tutorial videos! But to people's points about this developer. I bought a a couple of his plugins years ago and have grabbed all of his freebies people post here. I like the Spring Reverb he gave away free several weeks ago. He seems to make decent-quality effects plugins. But I haven't picked up his EQ or any of his more complex plugins that are more likely to require a watch of a tutorial video or read of the manual.2 points

Version: v1.2.0 https://www.orchestraltools.com/store/get-sine Changes in this version: AAX Support on Apple ARM-based machines - The AAX version of SINEplayer is now natively supported on Apple's ARM-based machines. All other formats (standalone, VST3, AU) were already natively supported previously. UI Refresh: - Sliders in the Articulation Options have a new design that shows their exact value. You can edit the value by double-clicking in the value box or moving the slider. Tweaks - Loading a SINEplayer instance with no enabled mic positions will no longer enable the first position. - Mixer and Articulation Options sliders will now reset to their default value when double clicking, or Ctrl/Cmd-Clicking. - The Dynamics tab in the Articulation Options will once more show the dynamics of articulations with only a single velocity layer. Furthermore, the text "Single Layer" will be shown to make it clear that there is a single layer. Fixes: - macOS: Cmd-Clicking Mixer or Articulation Options sliders will reset them. - macOS: Cmd-Clicking in the Articulation Map is correctly registered as a right click now. - The Alternative Release keyswitch was not always visually removed from the keyboard. It will now disappear correctly when not needed. - The speed zone and velocity zone labels were sometimes not drawn correctly in the Legato tab of the Articulation Options. - Some button fonts have been enlarged to fit with the recent UI changes. - The buttons in the Articulation Options will rescale correctly now when the SINEplayer window is made smaller.2 points

Why record it rather than generate it? MOscillator from MeldaProduction will generate a perfect 60Hz sine wave for you, and it's part of their free bundle: https://www.meldaproduction.com/MOscillator2 points

This is totally the result of the acoustical response of the room/environment that you are listening in. I've spent 30 years as an acoustical engineering consultant, and the only thing you can do is construction and treatment, which is not inexpensive. Learn to listen to stuff that you know as a reference, then compare. You'll notice lots of things that are anomolies. Live with 'em. Or build yourself a real, treated, monitoring environment.2 points

I picked it up for $99 last night. Diamond is now offered at $319, which, oddly enough, is less than they want for Mix edition ($339). I guess it's priced as a proportion of the products you own in the bundle. Ultimate 11 is $799 as Fleer mentioned earlier.2 points

Same. I'm actually more interested in their new pricing and pricing model than new features. I'd love to be able to keep using the DAW without a subscription and access my existing project files a year from now.2 points

I feel I should say that for those who don't know this, the idea of an analog orchestra was first tried in 2006 with Indiginus's Solid State Symphony. Granted, it requires full Kontakt and costs $59, but check it out. A lot of fun to play! I love it so much that I made a video about it once. To be clear, I paid for it and only made the video because I liked it so much. (God I was making insane videos back in those days.)2 points

I’m thinking of keeping those $50 and $25 coupons in check. You never know if there’s a special effect I may like, for instance that EMT 140 or 250 reverb. Also thinking of getting the next generation of Volt interfaces, and they may come with free plugins.1 point
