  2. if you like the silly side (ie LOUIE LOUIE) side of my videos, you will enjoy the first minute and the last few seconds of this one I try to keep it amusing all the way through, but I had particular fun in those two places. These parts are really stupid, even for me. As most of you know, METEOR is software that combines risers and impacts. The gimmick is that it lets you choose exactly how long the riser is in seconds or beats. It's very powerful and when I started researching other videos I discovered that there were excellent videos out there that showed all the features. I didn't see the point in doing the same thing. So I messed around with it for a week or two to see if I could find something personal to add. And that's what this video is about. It's not really a training in the features of METEOR, so much as my discoveries about its workflow.

  8. One think I think is missing from the Cakewalk workflow is the ability to move more than one track at a time to reorder them. We can move one track at a time now, up and down in the track list. If you select several tracks, when you try to move the group, only the one you got the up/down arrow for actually moves. All the rest stay put. We need a modifier, like CTRL or ALT to move all the selected tracks together. They would maintain their relative order of the selected tracks, but you could then slide the set as needed, up or down.

It's not meant to be super-in-depth, just "here's what I did". 20. For a bassman the 602 is very good choice, don"tforget an DI Box (Palmer will do ) and and to mix (limiter ) for a strong bass sound imo.

  21. This mic is easy to handle the sweet spot and delivers a well belanced sound for the live and the studio set up imo. Not talking about Rover and Neumann mic's. Cheers.

  23. Looks like a bug to me. Arming a Simple Instrument track by the shortcut should only enable MIDI recording as you expected - same as clicking the record arming button.

  28. this sounds like a reMIX rather than a reMASTER? a re-master takes the original pre-master mix, like "from the original analog tapes" - -if someone (giles, i'm looking at you) is *****ing about with the pre-master mix, that's a remix fwiw, i haven't heard them, never had a reason to think the beatles needed any tweaking...

  29. Clever workaround if you have a large amount of tracks! 👍 For 2-3 tracks it's probably faster to perform multiple drag & drops.

  31. None of those really -- they all are from "Image Sounds". Only things from ACID would I consider worth buying: https://www.producerplanet.com/us/audio/loops-samples-250/?label[]=acid And make sure you get things with a commercial license, otherwise what's the point.

  32. I've been following Komplete Ultimate updates pretty obsessively for the last few of them, and they bring out a lot of the best stuff the winter and particularly the summer before the release. If I'm right you'll see a lot happening next year. But they've already released a few nice things, like Action Strings 2 and Session Guitarist Electric Vintage. I do expect their Asian/Chinese library (which the Yangqin freebie is part of) to come out soon.

  36. I have had a pair for a while and they are really powerful for their size and a great second set of speakers to check your mixes on. I actually used the SPDIF out on my PreSonus Studio 6|8 and ran the RCA connections from a small converter box. On the subject of the original iLoud speaker, it is a beast and will surprise you with how much sound it can out into a room. I have taken it with me along with the iRig Keys IO to a couple of Chick-fil-A Christmas parties inside the restaurant and it was a lot of fun. I still want to get a pair of the iLoud MTMs. 😎

  39. Outstanding work. One of the best non-professional (I'm assuming) videos I've seen. Excellent all around. Just a couple of quibbly crits. The space suit guy dance took me out of it and some of the mirror fx were bit too much. Just my opinion and doesn't take anything away. Love the video. -Bjorn

  43. Interesting but I'm not wow'd enough by the demo video to drop my panties and shell out $107.40 That it has 11 operators is interesting - hopefully there'll be patches then really shine because they use all 11, but I really don't think there will be many. FWIR Poison (imageline) has 8 operators but that wasn't enough of a feature to get me to switch from FM8 by NI. A great many classic FM patches don't even use the 6 operators spec'ed out for the DX7 family of synths. If adding more operators was the magic formula to sonic nirvana everyone & their mom would have added it to their cupcakes ages ago...
