Here we go again with my GAS and FOMO . . .

I'm certain $29 is a "fair price", but I was able to get the entirety of FX Collection 2 for $69 - a little more than twice what is being asked for this single effect . . .

That's a good deal!  I own FX Collection 2, and my upgrade price is $99 LOL!  I own a lot more also...and $29 is my price for the crossgrade to
Fragments

Trying the demo now. I have a ton of granular effects, but this one can create much more musical results instead of always over-the-top mangling. I really like it.

I turned a lead into a pad just using the 1st preset.

Should IK Multimedia pay attention to how this product rollout goes?  I mean, it is Arturia, which means I predict:

  1.   Little to no complaints about the product pricing, upgrade pricing, loyalty pricing, or crossgrade pricing
  2.   A smooth installation and authorization experience
  3.  A relatively robust and bug free product upon release
  4. Long term support at no cost

Right?

I bought this after testing it for 7 nanoseconds.  This thing is fricken awesome!

7 nanoseconds ? Now this is granular timing also ...

so this is an fx , not a synth ... like output stuff ? Better ?

Yes, this is an FX.  It needs at least one audio signal to work.  I can also respond to a sidechain signal on the envelope follower.

totally agreed :)

although Arturia release also usually means :

5. Unable to download for a day or so because their servers are overloaded

(it downloaded fine for me but I think I got in early?)

Mine is $49 so better off getting the bundle if anything. But I wonder when FX3 will be released... I might consider jumping in then.

Same for me (49 EUR or approx. 40 GBP).

It does sound brilliant and it's easy to get the demo via Arturia Software Centre --> Explore Products.

My loyalty price is $49. It would be an instant buy at $29, so think I'll wait for now...

Hmmm... FX Collection 2 + Fragments (free) is only $119 for me. May be a better deal, but I already have Rev PLATE-140, Chorus JUN-6, Filter MINI, and Tape MELLOW-FI. :)

Are there any "must have" plugins in the Arturia FX collection? I believe that I already have the others covered by 3rd party plugins. Got quite a few from Eventide, Exponential, Kilohearts, iZotope, Waves, plus just about all of IK Multimedia, and some others too numerous to list...

But I do like Fragments! Haven't seen anything quite like that yet!
