After your system is perfect, and all your upgrade patches are in place for all your programs, THEN make a complete copy of your C-drive (BEFORE you go exploring the Internet) onto your secondary hard drive. THEN, whenever you have an issue like you are presently having, or if you accidentally get a virus or malware or ransomware, whatever, you can restore you system to perfection in minutes using the program's RESTORE feature, which looks to that 2nd drive where the image is stored and then restores from it back to your C-Drive and you are good to go again. Usually, these backup image programs either come with a CD from which to boot when your system is corrupted, or you have to make a Restore CD from an ISO file that you must also download and make said CD. The point is that when you are going to restore your system, it cannot do so from within your current running Windows. It requires booting up into a version of Windows that is on the RESTORE CD, and then you point that application to the RESTORE image (found on your secondary hard drive), and it will completely overwrite your existing C-Drive with the backup image, and your are 100% happy again.

I can't help feeling that there's something I'm missing with it, because obviously the developer put a ton of work into it, the UI is beautiful, it has all these options, there are the people raving about it on YouTube, there are announcements about add-on packs, etc. So I take all that trouble and time to get it to work and it seems like a tarted-up arpeggiator. If I had put in the same amount of time and effort running scales on my piano.... Well, if anyone here sees the white light and can tell me what it is about Instachord that makes intelligent-seeming grown men froth at the mouth, please do. The guy I'm thinking of seemed to know some music theory, so it wasn't just excitement over finally making his synths sound like someone good was playing them. I know I sound down on Instachord, but I wouldn't be disappointed if I hadn't been interested in it to start with, and if anyone reading this wants to try it out, the price isn't too steep. Try to instal ProChannel Concrete Limiter and have error: The ProChannel Concrete Limiter is not property installed. Please reinstall it using your original CD. In reply to Straship Krupa ( by the way any relation to Gene the great drummer? ) her goes. I am using Windows 10....Intel core i3-6100t cpu...3.2 Ghz ...8.00 RAM...system type 64 bits. Sound card..Realteck ALC 3661 Cakewalk by Bandlab 2019-05 B31 Presonus Audio box USB 3.1.0. As mentioned before I only get sound when using MME nothing else. And by the way, when recording the guitar, I am still having the issue that the 1st note played......A) is not heard instantly and....B) is not recorded at the proper level. All following noted played are heard instantly and at the proper recording/recorded level. As this is my first attempt at recording guitar, I am wondering what I may be doing incorrectly. But as I said above it seems that it is only the first note causing the issue. The dropout issue is also still there. Thank you in advance for any help. Greatly appreciated. Gerry

OK, this linked document has been updated with a few needed corrections. To the best of my knowledge it is as correct as it will ever be now! We now have an in-house repro for this issue. Adding the plugin after inserting the track template is the specific nature of the bug. It's now logged on our end. I can't guarantee that a fix will make the pending 2019.07 release, but we'll definitely look into it soon.

Problem in 2019.7? Anyone else seeing this? Editing Volume Envelope in Track (not envelope lane) Using Sound on Sound Pointer selected as tool with all options selected The mouse allows no access to ANY tool to edit the envelope. Works fine on the automation lane... Edit: I edited in the automation lane then closed all lanes and now the envelope responds normally. I will explore this some more.

New free Cakewalk Version 2019.01 build 27, 64 bit. Win 7 Home Prem 64-bit I dl'd a skin from http://dimension.technetos.com/skin/zip/Dimensionpro-skin-whitefalcon-White.zip and changed the Resources folder to "Resources-standard" then dropped all the skin files into the Resources folder..... I _think_ it left me with the Dim Pro Program Browser ok, but I was doing a lot of experim....exploring....and I am not sure. Whatever....now I open Dim Pro and the Program Browser is empty. So I reverted to the stock UI (by replacing the Resources folder with a "Resources-standard" folder re-named back to "resources". Dim Pro worked again. Was it just that skin, or is this what happens? The stock UI is all blue ink on black background and sucks. Thanks for any help.

True. I can understand it. But now we have 2019 year. I believe keeping old solution at all cost is not good approach. DAW should adapt to changed circumstances. To be honest I believe even for some reason they cannot (very curious what would it be) cannot use custom control lib or already made by 3parties there is always a way to make users life easier. Of course I understand compatibility restriction but let's be fully honest they abandoned 32-bit version without hesitation, right? It was much dramatic decision than abandon dinosaur ages control Well, I believe beta testers checked all possible options so maybe they were provided only with few IR while testing So they had no reason to complain. 🤣 But anyway turning off use of IRs is the most twisted and annoying way I ever seen in any amp sim. And I have/tested them a lot... I am GAS addicted and searching for different sounds for my guitars in virtual environment . You can easily guess what it means Is it possible any beta tester liked such solution? Hm, maybe they didn't invested in their own 3party IRs and ignore the option? What surprise me the most. They should be aware how their competitors do this. So what was a source for decision to implement it in such annoying way? 😭
