Here’s what they have to say about it: “Total Composure is the first to offer such a library exclusively for the Kontakt format; making use of Kontakt’s scripting capabilities to greatly enhance the playability, realism, and functionality of these public domain samples. The scripting aims to provide similar functionality across the different instrument groups, whatever the instrument; while more specific settings play to the strength of each instrument. Most of the instruments only contain one set of samples per articulation, and some only have one recorded dynamic layer – this is one of the many limitations we have found with using public domain samples. We have overcome these issues using a variety of physical modeling techniques that enhance the audio material. Using dynamic filters and intelligent repetition scripting we have removed the limitation of single dynamic recordings and solitary sample sets. Although we have put a lot of work into this product it is important to remember that at its core are the samples provided free of charge by a small number of people. I found that when I quantified a 16th note to an 8th note or even a longer note value, the note value will change normally, and when I am from 8th note or a slightly longer note, the value is quantized to a 16th note or shorter. I'm running the latest version 2019.01. I don't run lenses but use screensets. I suppose that could have something to do with it. I tried lenses for quite a while but quit using them and I don't remember what it was I didn't like about them.

John, Many thanks for keeping this thread active. I finally figured out how to login here using BandLab by connecting to my Seaweed Audio gmail. Just wanted to share some good news. We finally have a dedicated company server up and running, which means we now have an automated email list based on sales. The first development update will go out this week (2/15/2019), and will continue very unobtrusively once a month with software releases. Membership on the list is optional and will never include marketing of any kind. This should make things a lot easier. Also, we will have a real installer soon. It's actually coded already but still requires a beta test to make certain it is easy for everyone to use. Thanks to everyone here at Cakewalk who stuck with us despite our covert marketing. I just started having problems with Cakewalk going into demo mode too. It was working fine a couple of hours ago. Im connected to the internet. I tried logging out and back into bandlab assist and also tried reinstalling assist. Cakewalk still tells me it's in demo mode. I'm up to date using version 2019.01 build 27 Is anyone else having problems with this?

I just wanted to post this tribute to my Dad. He passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at 2:45am. He was 77. He served aboard the USS Intrepid CV-11 aircraft carrier from 1959-1963. He was involved in the Cuban Missile Crisis, and was also involved in retrieving astronaut Scott Carpenter when he returned to Earth. After that, he was a firefighter for 33 years, retiring in 2000, after suffering back injuries from falling through one too many roofs. He was a true hero, and I miss him terribly. Thanks for letting me post this. I love you, Dad.

Last email notice I received was for update 1.07 Still has issue where exported MIDI* only matches forward pattern not your program settings i.e. no backward or pingpong. *this is regarding the drag'n'drop MIDI functionality, recording the MIDI output works just fine. Softube launches Mutable instruments Rings for Modular A physical modeling phenomenon. After the great success of Mutable Instruments’ Clouds and Braids modules in our software Eurorack environment, Modular, we’re excited to announce the introduction of Rings, the multi-resonator that no physical synthesist should be without. Three specialized resonator models Rings uses tuned filters to physically model just about any resonant material imaginable, in three broad categories. ● The ‘modal’ resonator emulates the resonant qualities of plates, strings, membranes, and tubes, which reinforce energy fed into them by organizing certain frequencies of sound around certain physical points (called modes) based on their size, shape, and structure. ● The ‘sympathetic strings’ model offers the kinds of droning and over-toning sounds and textures offered by instruments such as the sitar. Virtual strings other than the one ‘plucked’ ring in sympathy with the main note. ● The ‘modulated/inharmonic string’ model is an extension of Karplus-Strong synthesis, which uses a delay with very high feedback and very short period to synthesize a pitched wave like a string being struck, bowed, or plucked. In addition to these fascinating and endlessly explorable varieties, Rings offers the user timbral control of the resulting sound, as well as the ability to excite the resonator models in any way they choose in the first place, either with an internally generated noise burst or with external audio signals. Even strummed chords are possible with Rings, due to a built-in polyphony mechanism which generates a new virtual string (up to 4 in total) for every trigger – even while the last note is still ringing. Hello everybody, For some unknown reason, Cakewalk Status Area is not shown anymore. Before when I launched Cakewalk it was scanning plugins, and it was showing the status of progress in this area. When finished it displayed total of all plugins, how many new plugins, how many errors, how many deleted. When I created a new project it displayed some text in this area. I'm running the latest version 2019.01 (Build 27). I checked all previous versions and it's the same problem. Checked Sonar Platinum, the same. Thanks for any help BTW. For scanning plugins I was checking all the options: Automatic Background Scan, Manual, etc. thes same problem.

I've been using Antares' Auto-Tune products for a few years now and unfortunately, I haven't been having the best experience using EFX 3 in SONAR/Cakewalk. There is a 'popping' sound that pops up intermittently throughout playback and also in my renders. I'm aware that there is insufficient testing and support for SONAR/Cakewalk (based on Antares' DAW compatibility webpage) but if it's not too much to ask, is it possible for the developers to look into this for Cakewalk 2019? -

CbB 2019.01 Never seen this one before. 1. Project has 10 MIDI, 10 Synth, & 3 Audio tracks. 2. One MIDI track outputs to a Synth track with either Acoustica Instruments or CW TTS-1. 3. If I SOLO another track and hit PLAY, the above MIDI track will also play sound unless I MUTE it. 4. Muting the MIDI track's Synth track does not silence it. (How can a synth produce sound if it's MUTED?) 5. This MIDI track plays sound no-matter-what if output to Acoustica Instruments or CW TTS-1. 6. Does not happen if Synth is Dimension, SI, or others. 2nd CbB strange behavior in a month. 1st one was certain faders reverting to half volume when hitting STOP in 2018.09.

Now Ripple edit is so easy to use. With the last update 2019.01 Noel has placed a tag up on the right side of control bar. Green light when Ripple edit is on and turned off when Ripple edit is off. Very easy. At last.
