Usually when a company decides to do something like that, running ads in a purchased product, is a sign that they are becoming full of themselves and really dont give a ** about their costumers. And after following the cluster of UI/UX mistakes & buggy code issues, I think I'll wait a few more years for 8.x. If it were just an "updater", things would be easy. But the new generation of "updaters" is all about pushing ads for the products you don't own yet.
