  1. Listening to this song made me very happy. I like the mix the way it is, and think this is a gem! Fun, fun, fun...
  2. Great PSA, Freddy! I'm with you all the way!
  3. You're always playing with fire when covering the Beatles, but I think you did a good job with this tune. This has always been one of my favorite early Beatle songs, and I suspect if John Lennon would have had this reverb available to him, he would have gladly used it. Well done!
  4. Paul, this is a damn good song, with a clear, well-balanced mix, good arrangement, and very good vocals. I hear many influences here, and I never get tired of this style of music. The only crit I have is the bass guitar. I've read your post in the instruments forum and noted your concern with the bass, and while I like the part, it just seems to be missing the low end to balance out your bass drum. But, that's all; the rest of the song sounds "radio ready". All in all, I'm ready to listen again for the fun of it!
  5. I couldn't agree with you more, Freddy. I'm glad to hear this song, and I love your approach to this topic! I just want to add one thing: vote!
  6. Nigel, thanks for your inspirational song and video! This is very uplifting for all of us. Keep it up!
  7. Fabulous! I want to listen again because I wasn't expecting this. You get strong points for originality, but that's no surprise. Congrats!
  8. Another terrific song, lyrics, and vocal from Staypress! That was a tasty guitar solo, btw. I once was acquainted with a real psychic vampire, and she truly sucked the life out of the room, so I can relate to this very well. Gee, it's too bad we're relegated to making only demos here because this raises the bar.
  9. Make sure that Stop at Project End button is unchecked under Options.
  10. Gary, this sounds better than ever. You and Daryl fit together very well. This song was worth the wait!
  11. Wow! I recently rediscovered Gary Moore and have been listening to his live version of this song for several months. Of course, I came across his work with Thin Lizzy and their version of this song. When I heard you sing it, I was awed again. I love the way you arranged this, which makes it uniquely yours while retaining the flavor of the original. Well done.
  12. This is a beautiful song that deserves to be heard. I'm reminded of the 90's band Live in the vocal department, which is good because I liked them a lot. I'm missing some degree of "punch" here and there for contrast, but overall, this song satisfies me. With an adjustment or two, this mix is on the edge of being stellar. Good work!
  13. This song could be stellar with just a few adjustments as noted above. Other than that, I really enjoyed this, especially your vocals. I hope to hear this again!
  14. Douglas, I always enjoy your songs and style of music, and this song is no exception. I appreciate that you list your equipment because I have gained a new appreciation of TH-U. Best of luck!
  15. This is a very cool song and classy production. It made my feet tap, and it gave me a smile. Well done!

    Happy Place

When I think a song ends too soon, you know I'm in love with it. I must listen again! All excellent!
  17. I agree with this!!!
  18. I never had to delete anything, but I might have had to reboot the computer.
  19. Have you tried rescanning the vst's? Also, check your stand-alone version, if you have one, for the correct version. Good luck!
  20. This is one of the moodiest songs I've heard from you in a while. You have a wide palette of styles and the right gear to express them. Variety is truly the spice of life! I look forward to you next creation, my furry friend!
  21. Another outstanding song and production, Nigel! There's a lot to learn from this, so I'll have to listen and watch it again. Thank you for sharing!

    TIME

This is one moody, laid-back blues tune with a message that had to be said! You always have a way of putting contemporary topics in a way that makes sense and imparts a message at the same time. As usual, the production sounds organic with your touch of warmth. Listening to you is like enjoying my grandma's cooking and all the comforts of home.
  23. I'm glad that you put two versions up because it was pure joy to hear them both. I love the title, as it does have an Indian flavor that I learned to love from the Beatles. Five stars with two thumbs up!
  24. I'd like to thank each of you for your kind words! I'm happy to hear that it works for others, and I'll keep experimenting with different time signatures.
  25. This happens to me, too, with the latest upgrade to version 5. However, when I hit play, the display jumps to the correct place, and after hitting stop or pause, it returns to the correct place on the timeline. Is that true for anyone else?
