I have 'Hide related VST2 plugins' set, and I have MeldaProduction VST2 and VST3 plugins installed. Cakewalk 2019.03 shows both plugins in the plugin list. Is there something else needed to hide them?

Hi and Hello, could need some help... Starting a certain project in recovery-start-modus (choosing: skip all) my actual CbL 2019.03 immediately crashes without any warning. Seems to be a problem with Celemony Melodyne V. 4.2.1.003. Melodyne works fine in standalony-modus. Any suggestions About this behaviour? Cheers Uwe

Please note that version 3.1.4 is required for the support of Superior Drummer 3 products released from this point forward (Q2 2019). BUG FIXES General Grooves and Search for Instrument could not be used by Windows users with non-ASCII characters in their home directory path (username). On Windows, “Delete Current Default Project” did not work for users with non-ASCII characters in their home directory path (username). The default path to user presets and the path to the file containing MIDI library transform settings were wrong for users with non-ASCII characters in their home directory path (username). Song Track CC curves would sometimes be silently ignored in random song blocks. It no longer crashes if you drag a groove part to a song track that contains two or more blocks and you get a dialog about importing the tempo. Grid Editor Copying notes, deleting them and pasting should no longer cause a crash. Starting/stopping playback in a host no longer changes what notes are selected in the grid editor. (Now, that only happens when record is stopped.) Empty rows in the grid editor were not possible to select. Deselecting rows in the grid editor (when multiple rows were selected) did not really work. Notes in the grid editor could leave a pixel trace when moved. Changing drum selection with the drum selection menu in the Drums tab or with the menu in Edit Play Style didn’t update the selection in a detached Grid Editor. Drums Tab The property box area got the wrong height when Macro Controls were opened or closed. Grooves Tab It was possible to drag from the Groove Parts view in Grooves tab even when nothing was selected which could also cause a crash. Clicking the “Clear All Modifiers” button didn’t properly clear the Groove Parts selection. Mixer Tab It no longer crashes if you try to open a Black Box in the mixer. Macro Controls couldn’t be opened in the Mixer tab. Settings The Closed Tight value (127) in hi-hat calibration settings got truncated at other scales than 100%. Certain buttons and texts would in some cases appear at the same time and overlap each other in the MIDI In/E-Drums tab. Removed the untrue “Favorites will be lost” text in restore database dialogs. Standalone Using ASIO on Windows and setting the buffer size lower than 64, the buffer size was reset to 256 upon next launch. Using ASIO on Windows and setting the buffer size higher than 2048 caused a crash.

with version 2019.03 build 20 Sonar seems to not open sonitus eq anymore. the default eq is pro-channel and sonitus eq settings are lost!! anyone have a solution to correcly load old project with sonitus EQ into new Bandlab?

Hi, I just downloaded and installed Sound Canvas VA and I'm trying to get it to work and play some of my GS MIDI files. I was able to play MIDI files throught the Sound Canvas VA in Reaper (https://www.reaper.fm/), but I'm unable to do so in Cakewalk by BandLab version 2019.03 (build 20l, 64 bit). I can't find a way to direct the output of the (MIDI) tracks to the Sound Canvas VA VST plugin. I've had a hardware Sound Canvas (SC-8850) in the past and was able to play the MIDI files through that unit, but it seams that Cakewalk doesn't recognize the Sound Canvas VA as a VST-instrument that can handle MIDI data. Any help to get this working before the trail expires would be very appreciated.

So, here's another Theme for you, M-Lux Orange with a blue version, M-Lux Blue. (Updated May 9th 2019 to fix an issue with the Event List/Viewer) M-Lux Orange has mostly orange buttons and text and was the initial color choice intended for this theme. M-Lux Blue has had all the orange buttons and text changed to blue with the exception of the input echo button as this is the chosen color for this function, and also the transport pause button which has been changed to yellow. Both themes feature: Various other color buttons and text. A smooth, slightly shiny rubber effect on buttons and the same effect but darkened on display windows makes them look a bit more like, well, display windows, ie: effects in the fx rack, loop, select, transport etc. Highly transformed Prochannel PC4K Compressor, PC-76 Compressor, Eq and Eq Fly-out backgrounds. My usual helpful green=on / red=off fx bin bypass button, and a red background for separately bypassed effects, these are as standard in all my themes as they make it so easy to see at quick glance across the tracks what is bypassed and what isn’t. Cakewalk’s ‘Mercury’ theme style knobs but with a more metallic effect to the color and also with the position indicator surround as seen in Cakewalk’s ‘Tungsten’ theme, I believe this is the first theme to ever feature this and it’s even on knobs that don’t even feature that in ‘Tungsten’. Thanx for the info msmcloud. Hmm... I finally got the "Assistant" to update itself which always seemed to hang at about 95% complete when it was trying to load, and then Assistant supposedly updated Sonar to 25.03.0.20 aka 2019.03 (Build 20) and now Mix Recall "tries" to work. Unfortunately, it crashes every time I try to change the scene. On it's way to closing down the Sonar program an error pop-up tells me that it doesn't like my new Fab Filter plugins. Hmm...Always something! PS I don't see build "27" anywhere.
