  1. Thanks for that link. I will have to look around a see about doing something.
  2. We have been asking for this for a long time. Not long after folders were introduced as a new feature people started asking for nested folders.
  3. Yep..Kenni got it right. You can choose between track and clip envelopes. However, when you choose clip gain on a track, it will put an envelope on every clip on the trk at the current volume level.
  4. After the Gibson fallout, I tried out two different DAWs that I was familiar with. When Bandlab got involved and CbB was introduced, I dropped both DAWs like hot potato's. Main reason? I was intimately familiar with Sonar, and CbB was just an updated version. So even though the transition from 8.5 to CbB will be a bit of a learning curve, it will not be like going to a new DAW. But you will need to be open to new things. The amount of 'openess' you bring to the table will determine the level of difficulty you will encounter. I will sing the praises of Take Lanes all day long. Once I allowed myself to learn the workflow of this method of comping, I won't go back to any previous version of Sonar/CbB, or another DAW for that matter. Does Take Lanes have it's own quirks? Yep. The one that Keni points out about the zooming is an excellent example.
  5. I had brought this up in another thread. And I even went to explain why it would be beneficial to all the users here, new and old. So I vote yes.
  6. Agreed about it being hard to find. I did the same thing. Went to my Bandlab feed and tried to find a link to d/l CbB and couldn't find it. I guess they have a reason for that. I just don't see iot. Maybe we all are the beta testers of the new forum before they turn it loose to the GP.
  7. Yes it does Iva, but there are times that I go to a thread and find that I am looking and not seeing the new posts for whatever reason. Like I hit the star and it brought me to this post of yours, but nothing on it shows your post as new, like the old place did. Now with that said, I am very happy with the new forum and the way it looks and functions. But if they are taking suggestions...... : )
  8. Also would like to have new posts that I haven't read marked as "New" in some way.

    Happy New Deals!

    Happy New Year Larry!!
  10. The first two knobs are the clean channel. Volume and tone. Then the Gain is for the Chrunch channel. And as I said earlier, the last Volume know works in conjunction with the Gain knob in getting the sound you want. After you get that sound you can adjust the "Overall Volume" with that level knob.
  11. https://www.brunetti.it/en/e-shop/catalog/combo/metropolitan Good image here. Good detail.
  12. I love this amp sim! One of my favs. I did the same thing you did Kami, couldn't read the font, manual didn't have much info, so I did a search. ( I almost bought one of these amps!) They do things differently on this amp. The preamp feeds the tonestack, and how they adjust the filters (EQ) is different than say a old Fender amp. After the tonestack the signal is sent to the power amp. And with the volume you can get different types of sound out of it. And then you can adjust that sound in TH3, which is that other level knob. This is a very simplified version of what really goes on, but gives you an example of the signal flow going on with this amp. I'm going back to read about the amp. If I find something else to tell you I will post back. [edit] Seem to have a "Silent Recording" feature. Plug your headphones into the am and flip switch to "Load" and it has a recording output like a 1watt boutique amp.
  13. I like all of these suggestions.
  14. Thew Sonitus plugins were originally made back when 32 bit was the only game in town. CW took the time to bring them into the 'modern' age (so to speak) of 64 bit so that we may continue to use them. That's all I ever asked for. I am still happy. As an example, Waves is a major player in plugins. And some of their great sounding plugins (C1,C4, Doubler, and more) are still looking "dated." Worse than the Sonitus plugins. But they still do a fantastic job at what it was designed to do. Even with the resources Waves have, they have only updated two UI of older plugins. Use the Sonitus plugins. They are free. And sound just as good as anything out there. Just don't expect them to get an update UI. But I have been wrong before!! : ) You can always be optimistic. Hope springs eternal!
  15. I am trying the B&B 000 theme. Thanks for the links.
  16. Like this theme Matthew. Looks really good with clean lines.
  17. Am Bass for free? Never in all my days would I have believed this!!
  18. Yes, each "Scene" is different. So don't overwrite a "Scene" until your sure you want to let it go. I think you can have up to 10 Scenes per project. Which is a lot when you start working with it. Mix Recall is one of CB great features. That and Comping! : )
