All my messages I check using Google Translate. Most of messages of other people on forum I check using Google Translate too. To understand all in exact.

  5. I want to record piano pieces. I will use VST piano, MIDI keyboard controller, studio monitors, audio Interface.

Next I will make mastering of piano pieces.

After mastering I will upload piano pieces to different music sites - this will be the only way to distribute these recordings. There will no be physical media - CD, DVD - in distribution.

    What studio monitors to use?

Glenn, John, abacab, InstrEd, thank you. I took into attention.

Glenn, John, abacab, InstrEd, why 3.5" HDDs are still used today? 2.5" HDDs don't need power supply. Why 2.5 "HDDs didn't supplant 3.5" HDDs? Maybe 3.5" HDDs have any advantages, despite the need for a power supply?

When HDD with archive not in External Hard Drive Enclosure or HDD Docking Station how do you store HDD? Do you use hard protection case? ABS plastic? Do you use protection pack, protection bag? Antistatic?

How do you catalog the files in your archive? What software do you use?

I want my archive to be reliable. I want to find files in archive quickly. I want to use automated archiving and cataloging tools, schedule. I want to make few copies of archive automatically. I want to store copies of archive in different locations. I run Windows 10 Home 64-bit.

  9. @abacab, thank you. I took your answers into attention.

abacab, I think about Intel desktop processors generations and Cakewalk.

Comet Lake. 10th generation processors. Desktop Processors (S-Series).

Rocket Lake. 11th generation processors. Desktop Processors. Will be released in the first quarter of 2021.

Alder Lake. 12th generation processors. Desktop Processors. Intel expects to launch Alder Lake in the second half of 2021.

To build desktop computer for Cakewalk on the base of Comet Lake-S processors now, or to wait for Rocket Lake or Alder Lake? Pros and cons.

Questions about spectrum analyzer. Which to use?

    Questions about grand piano VSTs.

    2. Intel processors marked "K" (unlocked clock ratio) do not ship with a factory cooling fan. Must purchase cooler separately, and a stock Intel unit is available. The consumer market for "K' processors typically will install custom aftermarket cooling, such as liquid, etc. for overclocking.
