  1. Bingo! Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Thanks
  2. Would anyone spend $300 for this? How is $225 a “deal”? Didn’t they have an online “mastering” thing for awhile? Did anyone actually think it “improved” the songs they uploaded? Really? A hard “pass” here. why did I bother commenting?… t
  3. I shake my head every time someone announces they are moving on to S1. Clearly “marketing” is NOT the team’s forte. This will all shake out once Sonar drops, but at what cost to the user base? Look at how ToonTrack rolled out their new B3. “Check it out, B3 in two weeks!” The only winner here has been PreSonus… t
  4. Off topic, but this is the Coffee House, when George passed he still had Lucy (the red Les Paul Clapton played on While my Guitar Gently Weeps), Patty Boyd was long gone from Eric’s bed. Who got the better deal in that swap? t

    Here We Are

Just a thought, use melodyne to write the harmonies, use as a guide track and sing them. Enjoyed Andy, the bones are here, now flesh it out. t
  6. Lots of good advice already posted. Not exactly my genre so I’ll just suggest you continue on. Each tune is a learning experience… t
  7. 👍 t just a note here: I could not get the post to link to SoundCloud (bear in mind SC seems to hate my iPhone, although I think I have fixed that) played fine here on the forum. Would have dropped a like and commented over at SC, but alas…
  8. Subscribe, Like, Comment! Helps a lot over there at YouTube! Niiice! t
  9. Outstanding! The video is amazing, you really have honed your skill set. Likes and comments help a lot over at YouTube. Do a brother a solid mates! 👍‘s 👏 t
  10. All of the core expansion kits from EZD2 are recognized in EZD3. Removing EZD2 is not necessary or advisable. If you are not using the "midi drop zone" in EZD2, you'll want to delve into that, and the new BandMate function. Check out Shootie School on YouTube, lots of tutorials that will help get you up and running. t
  11. @Tim Smith I’m not a drummer. So the search function in EZD3 is really useful for me. The caveat here is this, I’m deep in the ToonTrack eco system. Lots and lots of their midi pacs. When I do a search it returns tons of options. For those that don’t have tons of their midi the options are limited. The progression from EZD>EZD2>EZD3 has been great; for me. For someone who AD is working well for; maybe not so much? HTH, t
  12. And a generic serial used! Stock up children ( all the midi six packs; EZK, EZD, EZB) you can thank Baps and myself later… t
  13. $79 for EZD3 is a total NOBRAINER! And yes I use the midi search all the time! t
  14. Actually Wooks was “on it”, and had been for some time, when I first spoke to him at 5am PST. thanks to all the mods, these buggers have been persistent, that’s for sure. t
  15. Left my likes and comments over at SoundCloud, doesn’t everyone? Interesting source of inspiration Bjorn, I’d say you nailed it! 👍👍’s 👏👏 t
  16. I’m a little late to the party but I do believe that 👍’s and 👏are in order. Really enjoyed this! Left a “like” but comments were disabled. Hope the rest of the community did as well… t
  17. Never wish for things you don’t want to happen! t or better yet ”watch your step at the wishing well” -J Buffet
  18. YIKES! these buggers are persistent! t
  19. Edit: For those of you that missed it the spammers were back hot and heavy. Seems that some tireless effort has prevailed and things are back to normal. Thanks ! t
  20. I’ll put this back at the top Wooks so the community will know it’s covered. (Or at least that one mod is on it) these buggers are a PITA… t
  21. I cannot speak directly about the Lewitt, but I would explore this carefully: t I have “tried” numerous tube mics (meaning purchased and resold). If I found one in a friends mic locker that suited me I’d grab it or one just like it… I have no tube mics in the locker these days. Again, YMMV. I wish you well in your quest my friend, truly I do.
  22. @lawajava Well according to this fellow it "sounds pretty good"... As I mentioned early in the thread I always thought/hoped that EZB3 would be a "unique" instrument with its own midi packs. Lots of folks who can "play" piano, can't "play" the B3... t
  23. The Sondelux (Bock Audio) 251 gets/got amazing reviews as well, and it was/is a fine microphone. BUT, tube mics are a PITA frankly, and it DID NOT magically elevate my vocals to new "heights". There are lots of LDC mics in that price range that are "very good"; the TLM 103 comes to mind. HTH, YMMV t "A compact, energy saving power supply unit and 7-pin XLR cable are included" I would have to confirm that this is actually a high voltage power supply and NOT running the 12AU7 at 50 volts (so called "starved plate")
