  1. There is also a mute articulation that you can apply that will silence a ringing cymbal and mute it like someone grabbing it.
  2. For #1 I don't know of a way to copy markers from one Project to another Project. Maybe with a project template you could save the markers and then start a new project? For #2, You can copy automation from one track to another so if you did your fades with automation you could copy that from one track to another. I don't know of any way to copy the fade points from one clip to another.
  3. I would imagine that there are midi files for many cover songs but I don't know of a specific place for them. Google would be your best bet to start off with.
  4. I wish they would do a flash sale on Plini, Nolly or Petrucci
  5. It also could be a driver issue. Check what driver mode you are using. Make sure that some other application didn't slip an unwanted driver in.
  6. Looks like clip volume automation to me. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Automation.02.html
  7. Please look through the cakewalk documentation and the tutorials forum for help getting setup. http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/Home https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/
  8. thanks, I didn't have that one.
  9. What does the signal look like with no EQ added? Also, even in the Cakewalk graph that "noise" is down about 130db. I certainly could not hear that.
  10. You could submit a request to cakewalk support at Support@cakewalk.com. However, this is probably an issue with the plugin, so contacting the plugin developer or trying a different video card or video driver/settings might make a difference.
  11. This usually means that windows or some other application is using the same audio card as Cakewalk is trying to use. Best to look at some of the tutorials in the tutorials forum. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/35-tutorials/
  12. Anybody know how this compares/differs from Sonible Smart EQ3?
  13. Sounds like you need to submit a support request/bug report (Support@cakewalk.com). If you can reproduce this with a simple project send it to them so they can fix it.
  14. Upgrades are also on sale on the Arobas website for about $28
  15. This is from msmcleod: The easiest way to remedy this: 1. Select All 2. Adjust the beginning of the selection to where you want the project to actually end 3. Enable Ripple Edit All 4. Press the Delete key.
  16. Check your sound settings in Windows to see if there is a separate volume for the headphone out. How are your speakers connected?
  17. This is probably more of a Waves issue. I would reach out to them to have them help you trouble shoot your issue.
  18. There is a virtual keyboard that you can pull up in Cakewalk. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=NewFeatures.084.html
  19. It depends on the audio interface you are using. If it is a built in windows audio device like Realtek then make sure that the record what you hear option is turned off. Otherwise we need more information about your setup and audio routing.
  20. It looks like the Roland Integra 7 is a synthesizer module. You would have to send midi notes and messages to it though the Midi ports or, if it supports it, through the USB. I don't have the manual so I don't know if it supports being an audio interface. Meaning handling audio in and out of your DAW rather then just MIDI. If it does then check if it has an ASIO driver that you can install. This would be the preferred driver if one exists for it. Otherwise, try other the Driver Mode (WASAPI or WASAPI shared). Also, Pretty obvious, but do you have speakers attached to it?
  21. Have you looked at this setting? MIDI - Playback and recording- Turn off 'Always Echo Current Midi track'
  22. This is probably due to the interaction of your audio interface, the driver mode you are using, and maybe some windows update. Double check, and post here as well, what driver is being used by your device (ASIO, or a Windows supplied one ), what driver mode you have selected in Cakewalk, that your windows settings match your project settings, if using WASAPI or WASAPI shared.
  23. Thank you your solution worked. Just for clarification the path to the Insecure Content was a follows. Settings -> Privacy and Security ->site settings->insecure content Then I added www.cakewalk.com to the "Allowed to show insecure content" list.
  24. What you want to do is achievable with the X32 series. Once you setup the routing for the X32 the cakewalk routing should be the same or very similar. It is the routing of the X32 though that takes some time to understand. I would recommend reading through the user manual of the desired X32 to see how it works. https://mediadl.musictribe.com/media/sys_master/h9b/h22/8849399545886.pdf
