  1. Hi Daryl - I think it's a cool pop/rock song - I always enjoy your vocal and lyrics. There's a lot going on in this mix and it sounds excellent to my ears. The arrangement had quite a variety to it - well done.
  2. That's a really cool blues song - I enjoyed your guitar playing - nicely done. I would have added a bit of reverb to the guitar, but that's just my taste. I know you were going for a stripped down version of the blues. The harmonica playing was impressive as well. Thanks for posting.
  3. Lynn - Thanks for your comments and for listening - I thought it was a bluesy song when I wrote it, but it did turn out to be a bit psychedelic.
  4. Cool lead vocal - I like your voice. Good rockin' song - I thought it was a really good listen - no crits on the mix - it sounded excellent. Thanks for posting.
  5. I don't really hear the kick drum at all, and I think the female vocal needs a bit more compression - like you suggested. I enjoyed the song - the chorus is a good hook. Thanks for posting.
  6. Quite a diversity of wildlife in Uganda - impressive photos. The music fit the video very well. Thanks for posting.
  7. I enjoyed it Lynn - good song. Your voice made me think of Elvis Costello - cool. Overall the mix sounds good to my ears.
  8. thegaltieribrothers - Hey guys - thanks for your comments and for listening.
  9. Bob Oister - Hey Bob - thanks for listening and for your comments. I didn't know that about Dim Pro - that's a good idea to run the midi through something else to see if its a better fit tuning-wise. Thanks for commenting on my other song as well - cheers.
  10. This gives me a 60's vibe as well - it was an enjoyable listen. I still use Dim Pro, so don't count out the ancient synths😀
  11. I agree with a couple of the other guys that the vocals could be backed off a bit for this mix. Cool song - nicely done.
  12. Definitely a bright mix - I enjoyed the song and the lyrics were nicely done,
  13. You know there was a lot of interesting stuff going on in this - it kept me listening. Made me think of Zappa or Captain Beefheart.
  14. A somber mood to this composition, so I thought it fits the Christ's journey to the cross concept. Well done.
  15. This arrangement worked well - very catchy - the mix sounded excellent. The overall vibe is positive - I liked it.
  16. That was a cool rockin' video - I enjoyed the song as well. Excellent lyrics, and again I liked your vocal - heavy. Very nice guitar solo as well. Keep them coming😊
  17. amiller - Thanks for listening - I appreciate it.
  18. That was a cool rocker - I enjoyed the guitar playing (you can really play) and your vocals. It's a good song and the mix sounded fine to me. I liked that breakdown for the middle eight - nicely done.
  19. A cool, heavy jam - I would definitely add bass to this, unless you are going for a White Stripes type of vibe.
  20. Good job on covering this classic - I thought the lead vocal could use a bit more separation in the mix - not sure what to do - try a bit of a EQ adjustment there. Thanks for posting.
  21. I thought the song has a cool groove to it - and the piano sounds quite nice. A solid mix to my ears.

    Road Trip

The lead guitar playing on this number is impressive - it was a cool listen - thanks for posting. Just out of curiosity, what axe are you using on this one?
  23. I enjoyed this one - it had a haunting quality to me - nicely done.
  24. bjornpdx - I'm glad you liked the song - thanks for listening. garybrun - Thanks for your comments and for listening. emaraldsoul - I appreciate your comments - thanks for listening. Since a couple of you mentioned out of tune guitars - I'm surprised - I thought they were spot on - maybe too much of the flanger is being used on them - I thought it sounded cool - like you say psychedelic. daryl1968 - Thanks for your comments and for listening. The lead instrument is a flute from Dimension Pro - I think the Garritan Pocket Orchestra.

    Lift Me Up

I liked the arrangement of the song and the lead guitar tone was sweet. Made me think a bit of Steve Vai. The mix sounded excellent to me.
