  1. Interesting idea given a chance to get in the studio I might give it a try though I have another reverb in mind. Nice to know you enjoyed the trippy lyrics, as always your time, ears and comments are appreciated.
  2. Thanks nice to hear it is enjoyable. The bell sound is created using Voltage Modular from Cherry Audio's FM module. Then I used Native Instruments Raum reverb FX with a long regenerative tail. I then send a hint to the global reverb buss which has Overloud's Breverb hall preset to set it in the soundstage. Thanks for the ears and kind words.
  3. @daryl1968 Nice catchy little tune. Mix works well here.

  5. Interesting enough, not sure the open closed HH worked but it is your track.

    Forge of Gravitons

@Kevin Perry I would bring that axe to the front a bit more it is playing some nice little runs that are getting a little lost under this very Space Rock (Hawkwind) groove. PS Love it. 🙂
  7. Freddy grooving in your classic style, good stuff as ever.
  8. Welcome to the Cakewalk Songs forum. Considering the mix environment and the very nature of this song the mix works quite well.

    NORWAY!

As ever @bjornpdx an interesting mix of voices, furry paws crossed and a little of the force to help you recover., nice tune and pictures.
  10. @timboalogo It is a tragedy and crime what certain European religious sects did to the natives of Canada as they also did in Australia , your lyrics convey that message. Mix is not bad but as noted above a few tweaks my bring it to life a little more.
  11. @JEISONX Hi normal practice is to just share a song, running a single thread of one genre is not encouraged as later post may well get missed. As for you submission not my thing but the mx appears to be in keeping with the genre.
  12. In a Sound on sound leader column Paul White the editor wrote about this topic. He said two basic things, One just because the GUI is basic it does not mean the DSP under it is poor, it probably means that they have spent more time & money getting it right. Two if you can write DSP for a DAW then you probably know how to write it for plugin's. Personally I use very few 3rd party EQ or compression plugin's. It would be nice to be able to have more than one instance of the Quadcurve EQ.

    "Space Farmer"

There is a track on my Soundcloud page on which all I use is 3 instances of the Dreamsynth

@batsbrew well worth checking their bundle prices, the individual prices are silly but their bundle prices are even cheaper. The Oberheim 8 is wild, the Dreamsynth is well it is just that a dream synth. Yes I do have them all, Sound on Sound rated their take on the Space Echo as the closest to the original Roland hardware.

    I can't install Cakewalk

@Charles Bell that error looks to indicate that the download has timedout are other network services OK?
  16. @torerk you may want to disable the Nvidia HDMI audio in device manager it used to be an issue and may still be, it used to cause timing errors. By default I disable HDMI audio and all HDMI audio devices. Just a thought.
  17. Sounds nice here, I missed earlier because their is some ******* stuff flying around here at The 4077, I liked this. Guitar Rig pro 5 or 6?

    "Space Farmer"

Cherry Audio is the only Quadra VST3 available around $39 that I am aware of. Arturia do a good Prophet 5 now two versions but not cheep around $199.00 they do sound good though.
  19. @DSL have you enabled show mono I/O in preferences if I remember correctly it says outputs but it enables both.
  20. Nice song, pleasant mix, though I agree you need to bring the vocal a little more forward.
  21. The mix sounds fine but needs something more perhaps a vocal?
  22. Like Larry I prefer the Synth dominate Mix.
  23. Amusing ditty, I think it works quite well, the mix sound reasonable here on the Adam's
  24. Enjoyable listen, mix works quite nicely here, vocal is clear and present, reverse guitar nice touch.
  25. Revision 3 sounds better to these furry ears, so many have covered this in so many way it would be inappropriate to compare, mix works well here on my Events.
