  1. @Bruno da Costa, Generally speaking BLX files are topographic files and not native to the audio domain. Cakewalk is developing built-in tools that provide easy access and use of the parent company's online collaborative platform, Bandlab.
  2. Thanks for the update on the update! Nice to see all the changes in use.
  3. @David Pollock, Select a track. Open the Track Inspector view. Select the MIDI tab. The track MIDI inputs and outputs are located in the bottom, left section labeled In/Out. They can be viewed and changed from this location. You likely find one track where the input or output are not set as you desire.
  4. When I clicked on the link I received a notice (from Google Drive) the file can not be previewed and a second notice (from Google Drive) the file can not be scanned for viruses. I downloaded anyhow and copied the installer to my desktop. When I ran the installer I received a notice I did not have administrative privileges to run the file. I also received a notice Windows Defender was scanning the file. After the file scanned, it began the install. I was glad to see the optional applications remain available for selection. I was notified I have the current update and the installer closed. I did NOT right click and enable administrator rights so I'm not sure why I received the notice but the installer still ran. I was surprised Windows Defender initiated a scan. That hasn't happened to me during a download or install in a long time. I hope this is helpful.
  5. @Greg Steel, Greg, Your feedback regarding nvda is enlightening. However I fear it is misplaced and will be overlooked. May I suggest you repost your nvda feedback in the Cakewalk by Bandlab forum section. There your post may obtain more views and receive better feedback regarding possible solutions.
  6. @Sander Verstraten Bandlab Assistant doesn't have a progress bar during download but does during install. My first time install of Bandlab Assistant took about 45 minutes. The installation is quick. The more you use your computer the longer the initial download takes. After multiple attempts I finally just started the download then walked away from the computer. Sort of reminded me of the "good 'ol days" when I use to leave the computer connected to the telephone modem overnight to download a new version of Netscape.
  7. Remarkable sync to video and great sound.
  8. Excellent video. I get more out of a video that is short and to the point. Another tool for my audio toolbox!
  9. Android Apps and the Amazon Store will be part of Windows 11. Windows 11 Android Support
  10. Greetings! Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting a link to your music. Your vocal performance reminds me of Annie Lennox while the arrangement, particularly the use of effects, reminds me of the sound of a Tears for Fear recording.
  11. I've been looking at the sound libraries, samples and virtual instruments Bandlab offers. I have been pleasantly surprised. There are some decent country libraries for me to play with! I'm also giving the Bandlab online DAW a try. The DAW use to only work inside the Chrome browser but I recently discovered the online DAW also works inside Firefox. Watching this video I noticed the online DAW and Cakewalk share how users perform some tasks. I'm thinking feature and application integration will become a huge benefit for Bandlab and Cakewalk users.
  12. The online Bandlab DAW is getting to be a heck of a tool. One huge improvement is Bandlab can be accessed on the Firefox browser in addition to Chrome. There are also quick access buttons to invite collaborators to a session, private chat with collaborators, online mastering, Bandlab loops, import & export capability, an extensive suite of MIDI instruments and more. The 24 minute +++ Bandlab Bootcamp for Beginners +++ video is a professional grade overview of the app capabilities. I was prepared to say ho-hum but I'm really impressed. I'd love to read comments from other forum members.
  13. Good one Robert. There seems to be some confusion about moving from what was Sonar to what is now Cakewalk. Your video answers many of the questions.
  14. Great video. I need to watch it more than once. There's a lot of ways to do things I was not aware of.

    Hymns

Mr. Gerber, I received a reverent feeling while listening to each of the compositions. All are impressive showcases. I'm glad you include the lyrics and score to each song. Should you desire to try something a little different how about a public domain hymn such as "The Lord's Prayer". That would allow the listener to compare what they hear against a known entity.
  16. @Kawika, where are you plugging in your headphones? The current Goliath audio interface has two latency free, direct monitoring, headphone jacks. Generation 3 Goliath HD Audio Interface.
  17. Thank you Will. That's what I was looking for. I'm sorry I missed it until now. My mistake. I apologize.
  18. Yes I read your original post. I can not tell from your description what's broke. That's why I asked you to clarify. This: doesn't tell me what is broken. Questions don't tell me what's broken. This doesn't tell me what's broken. Why shouldn't Audio Snap and Time Stretch be one feature? How is separating the two feature make them better? Still can't tell what's broken but it works in FL Studio. What does Audio Snap not do that you expect it to do? How is the Audio Snap feature broken? What should be changed to improve the feature? I'm not trying to be mean. I'm trying to understand.
  19. @Will_Kaydo, I don't use Audio Snap very much. Do you mind describing what you find wrong with Audio Snap? I saw you agreed with @Light Grenade description but I don't know if you have more issues to describe or if Light Grenade's description details all the issues you know about.
  20. It's a nice sounding ballad. I wish there was a little more bottom end (bass) though.
  21. Please post a link to your request so I can add my support of your request.
  22. You may want to install and try a free, third party "Virtual Audio Cable".
  23. I get very happy each time I find out someone new is offering Cakewalk by Bandlab tutorials. Cakewalk is so versatile every content provider has a different way to approach the program. I'm surprised the author did not create a forum account and make a post announcing the course. 😁
