  1. Thank you for your reply. If not for BLX files, it would be great to have Cakewalk use a text based project file though for the same reasons. I wonder if the built-in tools you referred to would eventually allow me convert back and forth between the two formats (assuming the BLX schema allows for everything the native CWP format allows for currently).
  2. Will Cakewalk ever be able to save to BLX? CWPs are binary files, which don't lend themselves for collaboration. BLX is a JSON text file, which would make merging changes from different people doable. Cakewalk can read (although it currently seems to have problems). If it could write to BLX files, I could put something together for better collaboration. Thanks!
  3. Installed fine for me. However, I'm trying to open a BLX project (downloaded via BandLab Assistant -> Download Stems) and it seems to work on the surface. However, it shows double the number of tracks (12 instead of six) and when I try to play it, I just get silence. I confirmed the the BLX file only has 6 tracks and the WAV files all have content in them.
