My thoughts exactly. The scattered info on Youtube is too inconvenient. Like I mentioned above I already got this course and it has good information and learning pace. Thank you so much for your response Tezza 😃

Yep seems homemade but I think the info is good enough this far. Thanks for trying to help John, appreciate it

I bought it and it is pretty good thus far. I've been on and off cakewalk so I decided I'll finally commit to learning Cakewalk. Like you can tell, I'm a beginner. I did not want to go through the annoying youtube ads and 5 minute long intros - so this is pretty good value IMO

I agree

Arabic Dude started following 'Cut itself' like feature for 808s, I just discovered a course, Cakewalk needs a Humanize feature in the PRV and and 1 other

https://coursenigma.thinkific.com/courses/cakewalk-course-complete-guide-go-from-beginner-to-advance I just discovered this course. It has good reviews and I'm considering buying it. What do yall think? Anyone here has bought it?

Cakewalk needs a Humanize feature in the PRV!! I tried the CAL script but its very limiting as it only allows offsetting. No options to randomize velocity and note lengths. Also, there should be an option to color notes differently within the same track.

I don't understand what that means. Sorry -
'Cut itself' like feature for 808s

Yeah, I think reducing the length seems to be the only option in Cakewalk. My question was for long 808s that overlap. I think gliding could help but I don't see the 'wheel' option on the list for some reason. -
Oh.. And I also took off the synths, converted them to audios, just in case. No luck

Hi, Hope everyone is doing well! Ever since I've updated my Cakewalk to the latest version, the audio engine keeps crashing and the whole track plays slow/different tempo. I'm on Windows 10, 8 gigs of RAM and plenty storage. I went through the support article: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=AudioPerformance.24.html Employed the changes suggested to no avail. Am I the only one? Is the latest version bad?

Thats bad.. Sometimes you just want notes held longer without note overlaps making it muddy. -

How would you do that? I'm aware of what CAL files are but dont know how to write one. -
Okay. So there's this feature called 'Cut itself' in FL studio. It basically stops playing an instrument/sound if 2 notes are close to each other, and the timeline reaches the second note. (In the piano roll view). I would like to use the feature for 808s. The mix gets really muddy with 2 808 notes playing over each other. I have tried Tx16wx and quite a few other samplers but they don't seem to have this either. I'd appreciate some help

I had been looking for this. Thank you!
