  1. lovely oh furry one. I'm sure all of this positivity will inspire you to do more of this. Next step - add in some synths a la Switched on Bach.

    Satan Blues

Great stuff Gary - sounds like you have tons of fun

    Sunrise

wow - what an undertaking! This was obviously a labour of love. Vocals and playing are excellent - really impressive. The hook is also a very nice earworm. Mix-wise, I thought drums/percussion sounded a little 'squeezed' and tinny - sorry.

    Lone Wolf

right from that first guitar chord, this had to be one of your tunes Freddy. Really enjoyed it
  5. Hi Doug - I hope you are well. Love the groove and your choice of chords. As Tom says there is a bit of a tuning issue but I think you get away with it. Backing vocal ahh's sound the shizzle and you just use them enough. I'm trying to work out what the solo instrument is....
  6. that piano is beautiful Tom - really nice. I like the Talking Heads rhythm guitar over the ethnic beat. Lots of nice changes throughout to keep the listener engaged. The 6 minutes flew past and I never got bored. I didn't realise you could rap in Swahili.
  7. bloody great Ken - LOVE the verses.
  8. Great vocal on this one John - sounds like you are really in your element. Also the vocal treatment fits the song perfectly - love the dry, upfront verse.
  9. Hi Lynn me old mate Before reading any comments above, first thing that hit me was the drums getting drowned out by everything else and they should be the driving force in my opinion. Sounds like you need to strip back and get the drums right then bring everything back in. Great lyrically and performance-wise but sounds like everything is fighting for space in the mix.
  10. very cool - I really like the groove. Lyrics are great and the vocals draw you in
  11. Hi Michael - I listened to 'Grey Skies and Blue Waters' - I enjoyed the vocal style to be honest and the song is solid enough. Mix-wise, vocal needs to come up in the mix. Drums need some work - they sound like a drum machine but not in a good way. Some bass would help too
  12. Hi Bats I heard the first version. This sounds really nicely mixed and the vocal sits perfectly in there to my ears. Don't mess with it!
  13. Excellent Marke - nice song well performed and presented.

lovely song well presented. Great stuff
  15. Thanks a lot Mesh my bruvver from anuvver muvver.
  16. Very nice wip Gary - guitar sounds the shizzle. Looking forward to hearing the finished thing.
  17. Enjoyed this one and great mix Bapu.
  18. And.....breathe. Wow there's a lot of words to sing there. Great stuff both of you. Story draws you in and the music and performances are great. Can't comment on the mix right now as I'm out and about listening on my phone. I'll have another listen later.
  19. Love that rolling snare throughout and the vocal sounds great on this one. Mix sounds good - my only personal nit is the guitar solo has too much delay and therefore lacks the impact it would normally have.
