    Hate Me

Hi Guys, This is a track off of the new album I'm working on called "The Westerly Sessions Volume V". The lead vocal was sung with a Shure KSM27 through a Warm Audio TB12. The lead guitar parts were played with my Fender Strat through TH-U. The synth used is Rapture. The drums are AD2. As always, any comments or critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. 5. Another good one from you Allan - it's a catchy and upbeat song - a pleasant listen. I liked the piano solo- nicely done.
  6. It was an interesting listen - again I think this had a psychedelic vibe to it - I enjoyed the lyrics. I think a more conventional version of this could be a hit - just my two cents.
  7. It's a good song and I enjoyed the listen. I thought the mix was excellent - sounded quite good through my headphones - plenty of depth and separation of all the instruments. The drums were just right. Nice job on the lead vocal as well - there's a bit of soul in the performance - well done.
  8. Great lead vocal - that's what really stood out to me. You can really sing. You mixed it nicely as well - upfront and warm. I enjoyed the lyrics as well - good job there.
  9. Thanks Bjorn - I think you're right - I should mix it up a bit. I started using synths in some of my new songs to mix things up a bit.
  10. Thanks for listening Beagle - I appreciate your ears.
  11. Hey Freddy - thanks for listening. Regarding the Strat - it's my favorite - bought it back in '93. It has lace sensor pickups - I don't know if you remember those.
  12. I liked the sound of the Arturia Stage-73 V in this - a very cool tone. As always, your compositions are an enjoyable listening experience.
  13. Hi Wookiee - thanks for giving my song a listen. Say hello to Boris for me😀
  14. That was interesting - I thought this would be a good Broadway number in a musical. I really enjoyed the lyrics - nicely done. I thought the mix sounded quite good to my ears.
  15. I will add that the outro had a hypnotic quality to it - that's probably what you were going for.
  16. That was quite an interesting listen. I liked your vocal and the lyrics. I do agree with Wookiee - it did go on a bit too long with the bass drum and the cymbal, and as he said, the odd snare.
  17. I agree with Tom - well written and well performed. I always enjoy your lead vocal - you have an exceptional voice. I liked the mix - I thought the strings in the background worked well.

    Crave

Hi Everybody, This is a new track for the album I'm currently working on called "The Westerly Sessions Volume V". For the lead vocal, I sung it with an AKG C214 through a Warm Audio TB12 preamp. Just to let you know, I used the Voxengo Voxformer on the lead vocal track - I use it quite often - I think it's a cool plug. The lead guitar parts are my Fender Strat through TH-U. The acoustic guitar tracks are my Guild OM-140 through an ART MPA Gold preamp. The organ used is from the UVI Retro Organ Suite. The bass played is an Ibanez SR500. As always, any comments or critiques are welcome, and thanks for listening. Here it is: https://www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=14151066
