Dang. That magic $29 price got me again! 😂 Looking forward to having some fun with this one.

I am NOT buying this. Until I reach my second childhood! 😎

I recommend going to the PreSonus forums and looking through the Notion sub-forum. Surf Whammy is a great contributor for tips connecting Notion and Studio One, and other things. Michael Myers (michaelmyers1) is an orchestral composer with many good posts. https://forums.presonus.com/viewforum.php?f=167

Includes an update to the kHs ONE synth. Release notes say 1.7.7, but the GUI now shows 1.033 (maybe with another dot or 2). Weird.

This is an excellent piano VI. The 3 True Keys pianos (Italian, German, American) are also excellent. Those libraries haven't been updated since 2014, but the Ravenscroft library WAS updated well after I purchased it, and I never checked/noticed/was notified. What changed? I don't know, except for one REALLY nice thing...the library loads WAY faster in the UVI Workstation. Night and day difference. Now willing to make it a default instrument in a template. EDIT: The current Ravenscroft 275 library (ravenscroft275.ufs) is dated 7/13/2018. My original was from sometime in 2015, IIRC.

TruePiano or Free Piano that sounds good

I picked this up when SPlat went splat. It's a good prototyping tool. Modeled, not sampled. Loads fast. Nice pairing with Lounge Lizard. No velocity layers! Many of the better free piano VIs are Kontakt instruments which require the full version to run. Do you have a full Kontakt license? -
Celemony create the zip file on demand, so that it includes your current license file. They were under heavy load when I went to download the update. It's possible that that backend zip-build borked. Have you tried to d/l it again, with the same result? You got a bad zip file.

That's amazing! I've got a Gretsch concert uke with a tenor neck on it, and a Fishman piezo pickup system. But it NEVER occurred to me to try to play it like that. I am humbled, nay, crushed by his superiority.😎

When I lived in Pacific Grove in 1970-71 (while attending the Defense Language Institute), we had 3 seasons, 4 months each: Sunny, Rainy, Foggy. I'm afraid yours are far more accurate now.

Using a MIDI controller with a VST (e.g. Guitar Rig)

Thanks! Love your blog name. My first band in high school (late '60s) was the Prodigal Sons. Ha! -
https://www.seventhrecords.com/achat/cat-magma-19.html Magma have taken many high quality bootlegs and publish them as AKT Dokuments. The product number (SKU) of the bootlegs (and other oddities) is AKT # (with # being a number, not the hash sign; e.g., AKT 7). I think there are a couple of DVDs in the series, too. I don't know if you have them or not, but the Retrospectiw vol. 1-3 disks (from 3 nights in 1980) are really good. It looks like a bunch of stuff is sold out, including the Retrospectiw v1-2 double CD. The online shop, like much of the rest of France, is on vacation for the next 3 weeks.

I hear a sus4 coming.

A great app for doing renaming is Advanced Renamer. It's free (there's a Donate button somewhere) and is regularly updated. Current version is v3.85 from 23 July. I've been using it for years. Lots of different renaming methods. Very handy. https://www.advancedrenamer.com/

Be careful. I just downloaded v3.0.1. The 3 products shown state v2.4. Make sure a free upgrade to v3 is included, if this really is for v2.4!

Here's a link to download the latest (final) version. Riffstation v1.6.3 Download

I'm on 1903, and Expose is still working just fine here.

You mean like this one? EDIT: After posting this, I scrolled up to the video, thinking I might watch the train wreck again. Before clicking on it, I came to my senses and thought "No. I. Can. Not. Watch. That. Ever. Again." Whew. That was close. -

Overheard in a bar in Milwaukee in the late '70s... I'm shooting pool with a friend, when 2 young punks walk in and head to the jukebox. When they come across a Jefferson Airplane: Dude 1: Jefferson Airplane? I thought it was Jefferson Starship. Dude 2: Jefferson Airplane was their name before they got their $hit together. Those 2 almost got beaten with pool cues. -
The VST2 version of 1.3.2 also crashes Gig Performer and Studio One.
