  2. Hi Gary - agree with Larry and Andy re drums / bass - apart from that sounded really good - a great track cool Nigel
  3. Hi - Great track, really enjoyed it - I heard what Tom was referring to at 3.25 - but I was wondering if this was something like a sax very low in the mix - if not it could be distortion! Cool stuff Nigel
  4. what Tom said!! Definitely needs Bass and some work on the drums, then I think you've got a really good track here Cool Nigel
  5. I'm sure our parents probably said the same thing......but at least we spoke to each other!!!! and the games we played involved other people, and balls, bats, racquets and physical exercise like running away from the Police...opps no only joking!! but you know what I mean🤪
  6. Hi Ha ha, like it!! Thanks for the great comments - really appreciated Cheers Nigel
  7. Hi Glenn I like this - i see what you mean regarding the break - apart from that liked this a lot Nigel
  8. Hi Gary I Listened to V2 and I thought it sounded pretty good. The vocals are spot on and a nice guitar tone Good mix Cool Nigel
  9. Hi I like this - love that synth sound at .32 seconds. the only thing I found a little off putting was the high hat (drops out at 1.37) starts various time afterwards. Love the guitar playing Cool track Nigel
  10. Hi Tom Ah the Generation Z syndrome - and I just experienced it first hand - we had many GenZ's staying with us over Christmas and early Christmas day our internet went down and was out for nearly 4 days!!!! apart from thinking the world had ended, they were shocked to find out you can talk to people on something other than WhatsApp and you can actually play games which are not on your phone. Some adapted better than others🤪 The album is doing very well, but this video is really smashing it - its up to nearly 500,000 views on YouTube - in fact its doing so well we have put back the release of the next track by a couple of weeks! Thanks for all your support - it really is appreciated Nigel
  11. Hi Bjorn definitely a 50's / 60's feel to it.😎 I think you are right, the bass seems to be a little lost. Love the sound of the fiddle Cool Nigel
  12. Hi Asato I had a listen, it was pleasant enough but i did think far too long. Perhaps a little editing might help I do think this could be pretty good apart from the length Cheers Nigel
  13. Hi Steve I lived in London back in the early 90's - I really haven't been back much, but we did go there January 2022 - wow, what a change and not for the better - seriously did not like what has happened to London - also I think if I were to consider moving back to London, I would need to learn a lot of foreign languages first🤪 Nigel
  14. Hi Grem I do think Spotify does sound better - just the way they get uploaded I suppose. with regards to the vocalist, I just wanted a bit of a change and I had met Grant through a friend - he really is very talented so I was very happy to work with him. Looking forward to working with him again on the next album , which is already underway! Ah, the old cameo appearance - who was that film Director who liked making cameos? Alfred Hitchcock? - I'm just following in his footsteps😎 Thanks for the very kind comments, always appreciated Nigel
  15. Agree with what Andy and KS said re some minor timing issues my only other comment, which is a personal thing and can be ignored! is I think the arrangement could do with a change up somewhere Apart from that, I liked it Nigel
  16. I like the track but I didn't like the drums -what did you use? Apart from that, all good Nigel
  17. Hi Keith I really think this has the makings of a great song - I agree about the drums - i think its the addictive drums that sound a bit off to me -why not EZDrummer all the way through? Apart from that, pretty cool track Nigel
  18. Hi Really appreciate your time and ears - Thanks so much for this Nigel
  19. Hi Jesse Wow, thanks so much, I really appreciate your time and great comments Cheers Nigel
  20. Hi Larry - I'm a great Steven Wilson / Porcupine Tree fan - I have The Raven that refused to sing in my car at the moment!!!! Really appreciate those great comments Thanks Nigel
  21. Love the start and an interesting track - like that Organ tone Cool Nigel
  22. Hi Paul - you've got a good one here, like it a lot Definitely reminds me a bit of a Nick Lowe / Brinsley Schwarz track, which is a VERY good thing. The vocals are good but just a little indistinct - they really could be brought forward a bit i think. Really like this Cool Nigel
  23. Hi Jesse - love the words - my thoughts exactly - love that Guitar tone cool stuff Nigel
