  1. Agreed. Now I'm a guy who loves an amp that drives like a fine Italian Sports Car! But, given the overall instrumentation, sound and feel on this one; big clean strat! That's what this one needs. Your song, your production, but if I'm behind the glass here, we'd tangle (in a most respectful tone) unless I didn't get my way.... πŸ‘'s love your tune, I really do! tom
  2. Very different feel than the collab. Please don't take this as a negative; I'm all in on the collab. t midi guitar on this , right? Wish I had the time and chops to take a run at it...
  3. I prefer "classic" as opposed to "typical"; minor detail. I do have a tiny crit Doug, this is a shuffle or at least a "swing" feel. The straight four on the cowbell in the bridge kinda threw me off a bit; maybe/probably just me (no one else mentioned it) and maybe it was intentional. Kinda fits the overall feel of the story line... As always a fan, and I should too mention the great tone on the Paul... t
  4. Anyone else seeing that CbB excludes the VST3 version? not that I care really, just interesting... tom
  5. Me too, same thing! Roll back 2.1.0 or 2.0.5? tom

What Theme are you using? Since your new to Cake you’re next question is β€œwhat’s a Theme”. Sounds like a Theme issue. tom
  7. I can vouch for the EVO's, great drives! Go with this one, the 1TB; if the 2TB was $40 off as well, I'd buy that right now. Future Proof. I should buy that and the Kramer SDX. If I had the 2TB, I'd NEED the SDX; right? you guys are killin' me here, and in the Toon thread; geeeezus... t Good News! m.2 at 2TB is what I really need, I can wait and breathe easy.
  8. Of course, its Eddie Kramer! I mean Eddie and Glyn Johns, who else is there? Really t
  9. You guys are killin’ me! I is (as Ed remains Am) gonna wait... t unless of course the β€œtrigger” pulls itself πŸ€”

    Happy Place

A little darker than the title, but all good! I'll agree with others on the mix, well done! πŸ‘ t my thanks to Ed, I'm way behind, thought I'd got past the 5th, but obviously not..........
  11. I'll join the chorus on this one πŸ‘! t
  12. I purchased ModoD, for the crossgrade of 199 ($139 plus jam points). When I went in that was Modod, ModoB and B3. t
  13. Crossgrade to ST4 is $199, ST Max is $299, ST CE $149; but why would you do that is you're in at $199? BTW, I went with Miroslav CE; just in case inquiring minds want to know... So; ModoD, ModoB, B3, ST4 and MS-CE for me. Not bad for $139 and some Whammy points; non? and I still have a bunch more Whammin Jammin points. And how is AmpliTube Max, MAX, if it doesn't include all the collections? IKM's ball, hence IKM's rules; but it seems not so maxy to moi. Just sayin'. I have what I want/need in Amp 4 goodies, what do I need a bunch more speakers and pedals? My garage is FULL of speakers! But, make me a "real deal" and maybe I'd bite. Where's the GASEX? t that is all I have for now; signing off.............................
  14. <rant> We want our music heard; why would we create a situation where a potential listener has to create an account to do so? It makes no sense... I understand that social media platforms want/need to build an audience, but. I use CbB, so I have a BandLab account, its a simple thing to login on my computer, for whatever reason not so much on my iPhone. </rant> t
  15. Tone is no less important to a harp player than to we guitarists (we guitarists would rather fight than switch). Great songwriting once again Barry. Love that snare! πŸ‘'s Just hit the slide and effects Double πŸ‘'s (hell, its the last set, its fifty and drinks tonight, the crowds wasted; WTF!)
  16. Nigel, excellent, excellent work once again! @John Vere spend a little time on the Devin Lie YT channel, this is just the tip of the iceberg. t
  17. Wooks, I'm not ignoring you, tried to listen but my phone hates the BandLab app. I'll get back to it... Even on the computer BandLab is a blister (Sorry, gotta call 'em like I sees 'em) But back to Midnight Blue! Classic Wookie to be sure. The Legacy kit sounds pretty nice (yikes GAS alert) I too am really liking that lead synth (my non-furry, although I do get those "old man hairs", ears are lobbying for a couple more dB on them). πŸ‘'s t

    ....

I'll let the others draw lines and references. I found this a bit different than your usual, and I really like it! πŸ‘ t
  19. David, I always enjoy your work. This is one of your best! I get the Belew references, but I was thinking Pink Floyd myself (not that it matters). Big πŸ‘'s on this one... t
  20. Trouble is, at the $149 level he isn't in on the items he wants. IKM's ball, IKM's rules t
  21. Are there no Kramer presets in the SDX? t
  22. The pattern in the demo sounds more like Mitchell than Bonham to me (again, what's being played; Little Miss Lover) t and thanks for the info
  23. Sometimes you're scary Jesse. Zappa reveled, I think, in the notion; No Commercial Potential. There's a couple of tunes in here that with "traditional" production are jewels. (They are Jewels, but could be commercially viable) Keep it up, as always a big Fan, lots of goodies here........ t
  24. This was a bad move, I'm listening to the examples as I write... Amber has to be Little Miss Lover; no? I'm not placing the Sparkle kit yet. Kicks and Snares! t Ok, I'm are tieing my hands behind my back, I is (because Ed is Am) waiting for a real sell! This is my final (gawd I hope) word on this subject. 'Course you can't rely on Toon, like you can IKM, to deeply discount a day or two, (please excuse me) a month or two after release... Yikes, the plot sickens, can he resist....
  25. I'm reckless, you're, well; I can't find the words... πŸ˜‰ more GASEX for me, that's fer shure
