  1. I find selecting the 'Selection' tool before copying and pasting stops the surprises.
  2. To keep things in perspective, Billie Holiday sounds good on scratchy, mono 45's. Real good.
  3. I think a month celebrating sarcasm is fantastic! You reserve the party room and I'll order the decorations and champagne!
  4. You might be able to access/edit/delete the volume change events in the Event List view. As a workaround. (At least when working with midi files you can).
  5. So they are protesting the sun heating the earth? Good luck with that!
  6. Oh man....why did I get a Threatin tattoo? 😲
  7. How did you get to that screen? I have the latest version of cakewalk and mine looks like this (and it works):
  8. Ahhhhh. (funny, I was sure I tried that. )
  9. Num-5 unselects? Not on my box (I wish it did!).
  10. Here's a shot in the dark..... Do you have any plugins, effects, third party tools that are in 'demo mode' because they aren't paid for? Demo mode being they only run for a few minutes until you buy and register them.
  11. FYI: (To others who may find this thread) TTS-1 and VitualMidiSynth both work with those RPNs and values.
  12. Thank you! I'm glad no one told me to RTFM because it ain't there.
  13. Someone from the soft synth site sent me a midi file with an octave pitch bend range and it worked. Here is what it looks like in the event window: My updated question is...how/where do I insert the "Pitch Bend Sensitivity" event? It is not listed in the Event Manager:
  14. Thanks for the response and link. I swapped the order and it still didn't work. I tried using TTS-1 and that didn't respond either. I want to bend it (the note) like Beckham!
  15. I checked the Soft Synth software and supposedly it is supported. Is this the right way to do it?
  16. Yellow = video. Red = right audio. White = left audio. Stevie Wonder has no video (only audio). Beethoven has no audio (only video). Van Gogh, of one ear fame, has video and only one audio channel.
  17. Did you know about this list? http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013101/Open-Audio-Hardware-Guide
  18. I've read some professional mixing engineers bring their own speakers into the studio!
