WA Production Vocal Splitter FREE

I've got other plugins made by W.A. Production, but since their plugins don't seem to be well polished, I never have used them in any song I've produced.

Their plugins tend to be not really "good" or "quality" sounding and sounds usually like they are missing audio within the audio.  It's just poorly made plugins, not even worth "free".

I believe they’ve been bought by Image Line (together with UVI, Melda, United Plugins and Producer Loops).

I thought about buying UVI Shade instead of Shaperbox.... but going to wait to see what happens on Black Friday (unless either goes on sale before then at a really really low price :P)

You might try at the WA Production site for the FREE plugins. I can't tell if it's free or not?? Maybe because it's already in my account?

The deal is over they say. Its not possible to get this plugin for free anymore ...at least from their website

The big question is, is it worth having? I've picked up a number of WA Production's freebies, but haven't found anything worth keeping.

I'm in need of something like tis.  I am using Stereo Touch by Voxengo at this moment and Im not really happy with it. I would really use something else and this plugin looks very promising.

Here are a couple of other FREE options from the KVR plugin database:

https://www.kvraudio.com/plugins/vocal-doubler/cheapest

And the Music Software Deals site:

I'm thinking about the current Softube deal myself.  🙂

The Softube bundle is nice, bought it sometime ago.

If you get it from Plugin Boutique you can also grab Antares Choir (also for doubling/multiplying vocals):

Ouch. Not all of their plug-ins are created equal.

Especially in the case of ones where they absorbed another company, as they did with Dodge Pro and Venom. Venom is a sound design powerhouse, and Dodge Pro does the sequenced filter and volume very well.

Their main line I see as "Soundspot done right." They have the big cool looking UI's and they combine functions to get quick results for people new to mixing. I eventually found that I could get better results by using individual higher pedigree FX, but I think they still have a place for people wanting to build a tool chest outside of what their DAW comes with.

As for vocal doublers, my favorite is still Soundspot's. Does just what I want with a very good visual representation of what it's doing.

That's a good inexpensive solution, but there are even freebies, like iZotope Vocal Doubler. Check that out if you need a vocal doubler, it's also excellent.

And remember that vocal doubling ain't exactly rocket science, it was invented over 50 years ago by a guy at Abbey Road who set up two tape decks and delayed one by holding a chunk of felt against one deck's reel hub. So you can do it by setting up a bog standard delay plug in with a short delay and long LFO. Then pan dry and delay and voila, vocal doubling.
