Happy Pi Day!

In the nineties a colleague of mine wrote pi with a ridiculous number of decimals on a big window of the office room we shared (whiteboard marker, not permanent). We then challenged ourselves to remember more decimals day by day, and, of course, to remember more decimals than the other. I can’t remember exactly how many decimals we reached at best, but it was well over thirty. He was slightly better than me, but I’m proud to say that twenty-five years later I still remember the first two.

Which is the sixth digit after the decimal point! 😁

 

After I got to the first zero, I didn't have any reason to continue.  I could, however, also do a lot of digits of other irrational numbers like Logarithmic E to 20 digits after the decimal point.  Although, TBH, it was easier than Pi due to the repeating patterns!  ( 2.71828182845904523536 )
