  1. Final Draft as another "View" in Cakewalk would be great on each track to note info about that section. "scook - Could also abuse the Arranger to tag section of the timeline" Simple notes would work I guess. Extended text in markers just ends up being a blur when you are zoomed out. I would like to put post-it noted all down several complex tracks LOL!!!
  2. Finally after years of doing this differently - I just assigned one of my audio channels to computer sounds and another output to Cakewalk. That was I can do both at the same time. I also have another channel set up for Samplitude. That way I can keep all three on and live with no suspending of the audio driver.
  3. Still need a quick way to get from envelope editing back to clip select.
  4. Thanks for all the suggestions! Going to demo a few.
  5. I have several 7506 's and they are my favorite. I have some expensive Sennheiser's but I use the Sony's most of the time. I just replaces the pads on the pair I wear the most, but they are 20+ years old!
  6. I did not like the demo on the 7506's Enabling EQ compensation was at least 2db louder that without. The software might be good - know anything about it
  7. I love shift clicking envelopes - It saves a lot of time looking for which one you want to work on. But, it takes too many click to get back to clip. My suggestion is to add shift click the clip header to get back to clip on the edit filter. This would save even more time. Thanks for considering this!
  8. Nice song. Very peaceful. Does it have too much compression on the lead part? Probably just me. The violins added to you great guitar playing makes this one! I can see sloping hills fences and an mostly untraveled road. Animals grazing the fields. Wow very picturesque.
  9. I love the groove feel of the song. Like they said you could add a few things, but you got the bones for a GREAT song. My head can't stop bobbing to the beat!
  10. Mallet percussion is nice. I like that extra rhythmic layer. Low brass nice and full. Wow you got a ton of stuff going on here! I like the parallel phrases High Octave-Low Octave melodies. Tubular bells - nice.
  11. Nice song. I like the effects on the vocals - it is a nice change in the sound at that point. Very nice horns. I never did a horn piece. Nice accents with them.
  12. Great timing on this one! I liked it!!
  13. Nice David. You got a lot of crazy rhythmic things going on. The way you put it all together is really good. I like the way the bass and drums just keep on trudging along and the other parts bounce between these rhythms . Crazy guitar at the end lived the pan stuff.
  14. Use windows uninstall (programs and features) take both out and start over.
  15. Any users? Opinions? Do they have sales? Any better libraries in this price range? I like the rhythm stuff, but not absolutely necessary. It looks like fun.

  17. A thought for later - I use to do what you are doing. When I started liking Kontakt and in the box stuff I decided to sample my favorite K2500 sounds into the computer. There is a program called Samplit2 that I use for this. Now when I want to record a track with K2500 sounds, I load the "sampled" sound into Kontakt. Then all I have to do is to bounce the midi through Kontakt. This way I can have 16 tracks bounced to audio in a few minutes instead of an hour and a half of one track at a time. And that is not even the best part! The best part comes when I need to change a note or two in a track. I can easily just bounce it again or freeze and unfreeze the track. I saw an SY77 sample pack somewhere, not sure how accurate it is. And I don't know if you are doing much custom patches. Oh yes, the one track at a time does work .
  18. Back when I used TTS-1 I usually used 4 midi tracks to each TTS-1 which is the maximum pre instance. There is nothing wrong with one track for each TTS-1. It will sound the same either way! No right or wrong way.
  19. Ok Thanks again Steve but - I decided to try it out - I added some notes in Take lane 1 - Then I froze the track. Came back to the track to edit the notes. Can't edit noted in a take lane in a frozen track. Back to VSTNotePad for now.
  20. If you were to buy just one Acustica-Audio Plugin(set) (regardless of sale) which would you buy?
  21. Never used Take lanes - I wish they would add this to regular tracks. I wonder why it is in take lanes but not in regular lanes?? Thanks SCook!
  22. I have VST notes and Extra notes and Snapshot. I wish something like this was built into Cakewalk. Two photos 1 - a simple text field 2 - a small table
  23. I don't use this much but when you need it - it's GREAT! Lupas Rename will rename files anyway you want to do them. It's a little odd to get use to, but when you do, you will be glad you learned it. It will save a ton of time. https://rename.lupasfreeware.org/download.php
