  1. I like how you used the whole range of your instruments. Piano was hypnotic. nice tone painting of birds in a forest.
  2. This is fantastic. I love the fact that you used traditional music as the basis for the song. A rich vein that must be. keep 'em coming.....
  3. Your music is addictive. reminds me of jams we used to hear in the 70's like grateful dead etc. Sorry to hear about wildfires, we just topped 114 here in pdx and are dreading fire season.
  4. Now all we need is a young Johnny Depp. Thanks for listening bjorn. the shorter they are, the better the reviews. :D:D That's a nice compliment Douglas, that you'd like it longer. :D:DThank you! spitfire's libraries are first rate. I understand the g.a.s. I think buying a keyboard is very practical.
  5. needs vox and lyrics. I'm impressed with your synth prowess.
  6. Your songs have unique meters and the drums follow so well. Lyrics ring true. Really great stuff.
  7. I like mark's comments about flow. It's just a very smoothe song from beginning to end. Enjoyed it.
  8. I'm picturing gogo girls in coolots , very danceable. :D:D Cymbals red lined 2:20-2:30. Really great tune, Douglas.
  9. Is this for a computer game? Seems like there's a back story. :D:D Always love your stuff.
  10. Thanks kurt! ha, glad I messed with your head andy. thanks for pointing out the distortion. I listen at such low levels I often can't hear it. Nigel, you've got me hooked on videos. Thanks for the feedback. Marke, thanks for listening and giving feedback. Hey Steve, your feedback means a lot to me, thanks for listening. The samples are usually VSL. The new synchron stuff is awesome. But you have a good ear, I did use spitfire british drama toolkit. :D:D
  11. I miss the lightning storms on the gulf! Lived through many hurricanes and can relate to your introspective lyrics. Hope it's a light season down there.
  12. Really good rendition. thanks for that!
  13. you've really captured the wistful, nostalgic quality you were going for. the ending sounded a little abrupt to my ears.
  14. good theme to swedish crime drama/show.
  15. Love this. I especially like your use of the subharmonics on the bass.
  16. I expected it to be faster as well, but I also see how at this speed everything's one big blur! You are masterful with the synths. I've enjoyed all the warps.
  17. Love your voice. Always loved this song. All around good one.
  18. really liked the tremelo on the vox. Highly original! You did great on lyrics qua bowie-esque. It was sung with such conviction, good job on that.

The stage 72 ping ponging at the end is very tastey. Cant wait to hear #10.
  20. Thank you Nigel. I think I'll do it sans drums.
