  1. Here is one way. It takes an extra instrument tack. Add an instrument track with a plug-in that has MIDI pass through capability such as CodeFN42 MIDICHFilter, NoteMapper or VeloScaler and enable input echo on. Select the tracks to play the CC data, use quick groups to select the CodeFN42 plug-in as their input and enable echo on (enable SOS recording if desired although it may be better to wait until after drawing or skip recording entirely) Draw the CC data in the PRV or the automation lane on the CodeFN42 track
  2. The addition of synth audio recording a few years ago made it possible to record audio from synths that have an audition feature such as SI-Drums. That said, I suspect most find it easier to enter MIDI than use the plug-in UI to record a audio. There are several ways to add MIDI data to a project without a hardware controller. Discussed at length here

    Bus versus Pan

Bypass the plug-ins. My guess is one or more of the plug-ins are the issue Here is another discussion about how a reverb on a bus affects the panorama
  4. here is a free one https://syntheway.com/Free_Reed_Aerophone_Instruments.htm maybe it will do
  5. CbB includes a time-limited trial version of Melodyne (Editor?). Once expired, the Edit Window is no longer available but drag and drop monophonic audio to MIDI and tempo detection still function.
  6. If it is the trial version bundled with CbB otherwise the installer is in your Celemony account.

    MIDI View question

It is possible but may be more trouble than it is worth. Mute all clips in the track except for the clip to display in the PRV Enable "Hide Muted Clips" in the PRV View menu
  8. The scanner got the plug-in type wrong, run a VST reset from preferences

    On-line Help

    maybe someone here could help
  10. for those with a pension for the horn and wind
  11. The feature is new. I suspect videos will be available soon.
  12. This is not a problem for all user themes. Just checked the three themes I maintain and they all are working as expected. Based on the image, the Blue Aston theme is seriously out of date. It should be bought up to date or replaced.
  13. The scanner failed to classify the plug-in properly. Run a VST reset from preferences.
  14. Don't be surprised when the fader is disabled with RME. They do not support the feature. May was to make sure SteopEngineOnASIOPanelOpen is set to True in Preferences > Audio > Configuration File too.
  15. Thanks, that saves me from sending the message I prepared. It is a VST3 migration issue...odd. I wonder if @Noel Borthwick has seen this?

  17. There are two causes of the delay. If it is not the plug-ins then it is the audio interface buffer. If you are hearing a slap back echo on the track being recorded, this is due to monitoring both the direct signal and the recording track from the DAW. Turn off input echo on the recording track.
  18. The tape PC module was written by Overloud.
  19. Do not use import. This is designed to import clips into an existing project. It strips tempo information from the MIDI file. To create a new project with an existing MIDI performance: make sure there is no MIDI Output device selected in Preferences > MIDI > Devices open the MIDI file using File > Open This will cause the DAW to add TTS-1 to the project and have it ready to play. Then add plug-ins as desired re-routing the MIDI tracks to the new synths. When adding the synths use one of the methods that provides the Insert Soft Synth Options dialog such as drag and drop the synth from the plug-in browser Insert > Soft Synth from the main menu and select one of the audio output options in the dialog.
