  1. Always bad people in the world. I keep hoping though. Keep trusting. Keep looking for light.
  2. Exactly... Take the lander output and study it for ideas. I've done this. I don't still do it.
  3. https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X2&language=3&help=Automation.06.html
  4. Cakewalk looks great on my 55 inch screen. Idk enough about monitors too help though.
  5. Two things to check... 1. Any chance your gain envelope is accidentally a pan envelope 2. Any chance you clicked the disable envelope follow button?
  6. There are great tools for analysing what is on your drive taking up space. https://utils.kde.org/projects/filelight/
  7. Me! Just t restrung with nickel plated strings. I didn't know it was a thing.
  8. I bought it long ago. I use it almost never. Primarily to see which person was really out of tune. 🙂 If you care a ton about vocals, it might be a cool thing to have. I'm much more a catch-as-catch-can type of person. I record what was played and do my best to help the prettiest parts shine on playback. Beyond that... I don't really care. I don't spend much time trying to make rough parts pretty.
  9. Yes, multiband compression can help.
  10. How many drummers to screw in a lightbulb? None... We have machines for that now.
  11. How many bassists to screw in a lightbulb? None. Keyboardist can do it with his left hand.
  12. How do you get six banjo players into a closet? Tell them they can live there.
  13. Each wave will get its own track. You can manually move the clips around once imported.
  14. Bit depth is shown on the control bar. Project bit depth is set in preferences-audio files. To get the dialog i spoke of, file menu, import, audio file... This will open the dialog.
  15. When you go to import the audio files and select one file, the dialog box will show you the bit depth and sample rate. Using P, you can open the preferences to set you bit depth and sample rate for the project to be the same.
  16. If you select a single track and click file... import audio it will import them all on individual tracks. It goes faster if the project sample rate matches that of the files.
  17. Bounce to track before applying fades to the new clip. Route the new track to the interface not the master bus.
  18. Loved it. Heard no issues. Well... During the piano only section in the middle it seemed a little hot to me. Maybe a touch of distortion?
  19. I hate everyone... It makes interacting salty.
  20. Cool to be able to measure ebu loudness levels too, before setting clip gain.
  21. Dropout can cause it or hitting escape or clicking the x on the render bar... I think these things do it.
  22. Not all synths upsample by default in cakewalk. You have to specify in a list.
