  1. There used to be a key combo in previous Sonar versions just for deleting the last take without even stopping the whole loop-recording process, not shure if it was Ctrl+Spacebar maybe? Does it still apply in CakeLab (and the most recent Sonar version)?
  2. Ach sorry, I mean pictures showing how the skins look (like in the other "Gran Vista" topic). If that's too much work then nevermind. Cheers! EDIT: Alright I've just read the description, I think best will be to load the skins in Cakewalk to see them.
  3. Would be great to see some more and closer previews of them. Hopefully that's not too much effort asked for.
  4. I'm too a B3 player doubt I look like a geek though
  5. Brainworx has a tuner that goes sometimes on sale for as low as $5.
  6. Thanks! That sounds like my next amazon buy when's time to change the mice. And the price looks good too.
  7. Looks interesting., Can you use the scroll ring for controlling plugin fx/synth's knobs and sliders, without installing any additional software?
  8. how cool is that for quick eye-based signal leveling by just selecting a portion of waveform and ctrl+drag the clip gain to create 2 new nodes and visually level audio of that portion in one smart move, isn't it
  9. Their bright color does hurt eyes sometimes when used on dark tungsten theme. No need to do any changes to their sound engine but an option for darker body color would be a welcome change.
  10. Well I was expecting this sort of answers. Unfortunately the other sonar forums like sonarmods or beyondcakewalk are also down. Seems like time to hide under the ground again. Bummed.
  11. Most of my friends are working on macs. That would make the co-working much easier.
  12. +1000 I'm sure you mean the waveform change will happen in realtime as we move the clip gain. Oh yes, that would be a huuuge step forward in the workflow!
  13. I may be the first PC friend here to respond to your request and I wholeheartly adore this idea!
  14. Big thumb up for the legacy Sonar section! Since the old forum is going to be locked we have a strong argument to ask for it now. I'm still on an 32-bit pc machine btw.
  15. I was chris.r in the old forum, I doubt that would help with my post count though.
  16. I too come from early '90s midi software, you should be feeling like at home with cakelab once you get familiar with the basics like routing midi & audio and all the usual first steps. This tutorial is great to start, made by Cactus one of the forum member. Also have a look at the online help for prv and cakelab's signal flow.
  17. Oh no! I need at least 3x more...
  18. I remember reading somewhere that in the Gibson times Cakewalk was close to implement great 3rd party notation plugin, don't remember exactly which one... Overture perhaps? Maybe in future they'll come back to the idea.
  19. I think there's more to the name Cakewalk than many remember. Coming from recent times people recognize Cakewalk as a brand and Sonar as a product. But those who are with Cakewalk for longer remember that Cakewalk was the product made by TwelveTone! I'm more familiar with name Cakewalk and feeling fine with that name, a very traditional name in a sense.
  20. On desktop I like the feature when you select a fragment of some post and "Quote selection" pops up. Gonna check if there is anything like that on mobile.
  21. Sorry, couldn't find a better place to ask this question: Have we got a forum's dark theme?
