  1. just had chance to listen to the two side by side and, even with a cold (ya wanker Ed), the difference is night and day - the Bandlab thingy completely mashed it up - sounds horrible compared to the SC version
  2. This one is a little out of date - I recently made the jump to Windows 10
  3. This was fun. Thanks for asking mate.

Ok maybe just the tip of a .........never mind

As I have said elsewhere, lovely mate. I would add a gnat's penis (pretty small amount) of reverb on the first solo sound if I was hyper critical.
  6. Thanks so much David. Much appreciated. Very kind words. Thanks a lot Bill. Thanks me old mucker.
  7. Hi Donny. Solid song and performances. Everything is clean and clear in the mix however the piano is drowning the vocal. It sounds to me that you're not confident in the vocal but you have a really nice voice - bring it forward.

Lovely relaxing piece Bjorn. Some nice ethereal stuff going on. Wow, 68th version? Might be time to re-watch Game of Thrones

Thomas Dolby eat your heart out. Lovely Tom me old mucker. If you want a nit, thin out the hi-hats - they're a bit chunky.
  10. This is a journey with so many detours, I never find myself saying 'are we there yet?' Love it.
  11. Good stuff. All excellent except I found the synth that you used for the arpeggio very irritating. There is too much reverb on it and the actual synth tone you have used fills too much of the mix. Just my 2 pennies.
  12. I really enjoyed working on this with you - great song
  13. Hi Douglas I hope you are well. I think I remember hearing another of yours (and I still like the album title) Great song but I think the mix needs some work - you can barely hear the drums in places. I also agree the intro is too long.
  14. HA - people pay a lot of money to get that warm tape sound Really nice recording that translates well
  15. Brilliant Allen - I'd love to hear you live

....because I know you can play those traditional instruments so well....

    New Beginning

Sorry Tim I was a bit vague there. I wasn't keen on the lead synth sound and I would have preferred to hear a acoustic traditional instrument (mandolin for example) with the synth backing. I think the mix of the two would be nice. Only my humble opinion mate. You know I lurves ya
  18. good song and mix Harry. I also enjoyed the video - it must have taken a lot of work.
